Get Some Rest

          It was around 7 at night when everyone began to go home. As I helped Laki and Mira clean up the small guild hall, Natsu walked up to me. I glanced at him when he lite up the candles on the bar surface. I gave him a small thank-you smile when I heard a drunken Jet speak.

          "I can't believe that Antonio tried to take on that S-Class monster by himself. It reminds me of his latest mission against the-" I slammed my foot on his face which he crashed into the wooden floor.

          "Can't you just shut up loudmouth?" Jet groaned before ending unconscious. I sighed when I heard Natsu asked Mira a question.

          "Do you think we still have our homes and dorms?" I exhaled sadly when Laki answered.

          "The only ones still with their houses are Lucy-san, all the members that didn't disappear and Antonio-kun," Natsu hummed and I announced in the silent air.

          "Yes Natsu-kun. You and Happy can stay at my house until you get your own," the pyro grinned and another weak smile grew on my face.

         "Laki. Mira. You both can leave, I'll watch the guild tonight," the two girls stared at me with knowing faces.

        "Toni," Laki started. "You've been protecting our guild nonstop. Just go home and have a good night's rest," before I could protest, Natsu placed a hand on my shoulder.

       "Just for tonight can you rest? Then I promise you can protect the guild at night as long as you want," I hesitated at Natsu's words but agreed to his deal proposal. He grinned before I yawned loudly and leaned my head against Natsu's shoulder. I faintly heard Mira laughed before Natsu picked me up bridal style and muttered a question.

          "Where do you live?"

         "Same place 7 years ago," my senses began to dull as sleep overcame me. "Flame brain," then my world went out like a light.

          When I roused out of my slumber, Natsu was whispering curses and trying to open my door without waking me up. I smiled tiredly at his attempts before I whispered.

          "The key is in the window," Natsu hummed before going to grab it, still carrying me. I nuzzled into the pyro's chest, seeking warmth, when Happy commented softly.

         "Do you think Antonio missed your warmth Natsu?" Natsu shrugged and I closed my eyes as he opened the door and we entered. As Natsu gently closed the door, Happy flew ahead to toss a log in the fireplace. That's when I finally noticed how freezing my house was. I shivered and Natsu brought me a bit closer to him.

          "Can you stand?" I nodded in a haze as Natsu softly put me on my feet.

          "Happy, can you grab Toni some night clothes?" Happy nodded and flew away to his task. I glanced at the Fire Dragon Slayer to see him at the fireplace starting the fireplace. Taking a seat on the couch, I stared at the dragon slayer when Happy returned about 2 minutes later.

          "Here you are Antonio!" I flinched at the exceed's loud voice but gave him a smile nonetheless. As I began to remove my jacket, I spoke softly but still loud enough for the pyro to hear me.

          "Can you guys turn around and not look?" as soon as I requested that, I received an"Aye!" and a "Sure" from the two.Glad at the response given, I began to remove my shirt when Happy turned around to ask.

          "But why-" he stopped as my shirt hung on my fair arms and covered my eyes. Wondering what stopped him, I finished removing the shirt off me and hung the shirt on the couch to see the exceed staring at my chest in shock and horror. I glanced at the ground when Natsu began to turn.

          "Happy, what's-"

          "Don't!" I cried out in distress. The pyro, sensing my distress in the air, froze and just returned to his normal position. I swiftly finished getting undressed before slipping on the fire red loose tank top and raven black shorts on. I glared at Happy when Natsu turned around. He glanced at Happy before shrugging.

          "So where are we sleeping?" I thought, not thinking that far ahead, when I remembered that I no longer had the pull out bed.

          "Do you mind sharing a bed with me?" Happy shook his head when Natsu glanced at me.

          "Are you alright with it? I know you don't really like me due to my magic," I shook my head and smiled.

          "Let's go to bed then."
