Chapter 3

Recap:"Really!" I say excited.

She nods with much excitement as well "Whatcha gonna get babe"

"Mmm" I say thinking about it "Maybe a puppy. A small one that will stay small"

"Great idea" she beams.

We quickly get unpacked with some helpers my mom and dad hired. We got done around 10:30..i was beyond tried. even if I slept for the 4 hour flight .

I get upstairs and into my closest throwing off my clothes and slipping on my old pj's .

I slipped into my big comfy bed and pulled the covers up to my chin. I started thinking how hard but exciting summer and school will be like.

And with that I fell asleep thinking about how much this summer will be...how epic this will be.

Summer 2014 here I come !

Ryder's Pov.

I woke up the next morning and stretched making weird unattractive faces and noises.

I laugh at myself and roll off to my phone. Checked the time as it says 10:40 and my messages

Text message from 'Cookie'.

'Hey Ryder I miss you. Don't forget about us! We love you. I love you❤️'

I smile and quickly lock my phone. I roll out of bed like literally roll out of bed and head to the shower.

I turn on the water and quickly strip off my clothes. As checking the water I take my hair down from its ponytail.

After my 20 minute shower I felt refreshed and awake. I quickly slip on my underwear and bra and walk to my closest as I put my hair in a wet lazy bun.

I finally decide in leggings, white t-shirt, my jacket wrapped around my waist and a army green beanie.

After I was done with my makeup and curling my hair I headed downstairs with phone in hand.

"Goodmorning" I say once downstairs but no one answers. I quickly walk into the kitchen and see a note attached to the fridge.

'Hey honey I went to see my new boss today for breakfast and do some things. I'll be back around lunch time. Your father went out and shouldn't be back until later tonight. Go out and have fun..explore LA baby. See you later have fun and be safe

I grin and grab my wallet from the front bowl next to the front door and my car keys. I shove my black & white vans on and head out. I slip off my jacket around my waist and put it on considering it's chilly and looking like it will rain.

Running to my car I slip inside and blast the heat. I shiver and reverse heading to get something to eat.

After exploring for awhile I got tried until I remember my mom telling me about having a pet. I quickly threw away my empty 'Panera' cup and drove to the closest adoption center.

I quickly slip out of my car and go inside. I step inside and see a extremely attractive guy standing at the front desk.

"Yeah I came here for my dog Wishbone someone turned in a few hours ago" he says sweetly.

The girl nods and scurries away to grab the doggie. He turns around and runs into me.

Me being me I slip until a pair of arms catch me

"Thank you oh my gosh" I say standing up straight

He smile and chuckles "Sorry about that. I didn't see you there."
