Unforgettable together the whole world in my hands
Unexplainable the love that only we could understand

Ignatius was the light in Liam's world. His name described him well- he was just like fire. He had the blazing passion to do something. To be remembered as more than a worthless human. And he believed the most powerful weapon on earth is a human soul on fire.

And he ignited Liam in ways that were not possible. He made him feel warm and safe. And when they touched it was like the whole world was on fire.

 They were on fire.

The fire consumed them but at the same time was  invigorating. Liam had thought this fire would burn them down, leave behind nothing but ashes. Blinding and destroying everything in it's path. Burn fast and die out quickly. That they would burn out the world.

But what he realised was that this fire could bring them to life. This fire made them into survivors. Fighters. The fire made Liam learn to let go. To lose control even if it was only for a brief period of time. To stand up for what he wanted. The fire was mad, was magic.

And there was no lie in this fire.

It was this fire that made Liam deny the Royal order. To disobey his father's words.

It had been a normal day. Montadales was starting in two days and the finals were just around the corner. He would have ditched studying for today and start tomorrow but Abigail had forced him into it. And it wasn't helping that Sharon, Persephone and Aria were shouting and giggling in the next room. The house was abuzz with the wedding preparations.

Now, who would want to study in a place like that?

"I'll study tomorrow, Abi. Promise." He was saying it for the one hundred and fiftieth time but Abigail wasn't budging.

"Are you kidding me? Now, don't make me sound like Professor Algolagnic.Just shut up and study." She turned back to her book. Liam huffed and sat there staring at the book. They were lounging on his bed with books all around them. The girls in the other room were shouting like their life depended on it.

There was the ding of the doorbell. A few minutes later all the noise stopped.

The door burst open to reveal Rebecca, face pale, "Liam, Abbs, you better come down."

"What happened Becky? Are you alright?" Abigail enquired.

"Just come. Now." She was scared out of her senses.

All the three rushed down to the living room. The whole family had already assembled. Near the entrance were five men, all of them dressed in fine suits. The men were wearing the royal seal- a crescent moon and a rose across it, with an all- seeing eye above it. Two of the men stood at the head of the group. The taller of the two, Lord Lucas Raynott, had blue- gray eyes and a shock of dark brown hair - an unruly forelock dangling out of the rest of perfectly styled hair. The other man, with blue eyes and messy brown hair, had an air of haughtiness around him. Lord Louis Tomlinson.

Jonathan was fairly well known and had clients who were vampires. But they didn't visit his home. Having vampires from the royal court was something else. Also Lord Raynott didn't visit them often. Lord Raynott's presence was acceptable, but Lord Louis Tomlinson's presence was anomalous.

"Well, Jonathan Payne, it's been a long time. I guess your whole family is here. Atleast you summoned all of them here. I was expecting you to welcome us in, not your housemaid." Lord Tomlinson sneered. Lord Raynott stood by him, his face not giving anything away.
