Thus spoke Jeniffer Schecter

I figured it would be a normal day, drink my coffee, eat my breakfast and then bust criminals with co-workers. Well i am here with a new partner by the name of Allison Williams, shes a young girl who also has a habit of acting of free will. She wishes to be a detective like myself, we will see how that goes. "My name is Christopher James Mathews I am your leading detective" It's a family name on my fathers side although i don't look very much like my father. I have more of a thin build in comparison to my fathers muscular build, and my eyes are a blue/grey compared to the brown eye gene of almost everybody in my family, the only thing similar would be my dirt blond hair.

" Counstable Allison Williams, Sir" shes very much of the tomboy-ish category, black wavy long hair tied in a bun to match her jade green eye's and olive tan skin. She is of average hieght, probably 5'4.

We made some small talk in my office and discussed her roles while under my instruction, i showed around the the office and introduced her to some of the other officers. We then stopped by to see my other friend Eliza Schecter, she is the emergency phone operator. Rather shy and always in her books, she's a slender build and rather tall. " oh, hey Mr Mathews. What brings you in this department? " she said as she packs her folders away.

" Just showing my new partner around the place, thought she might like to meet a few friendly faces " I stated. I then noticed a file on Eliza's desk and picked it up " Why have you got this case? " As i looked inside i noticed a photo that had the name Jennifer Schecter on it.

" oh i am sorry, she's my older cousin. The case went cold and I just--" as she was cut off Allison piped up.

" Jennifer Schecter? isn't she the lady who was murdered? i thought the case was solved and Her friend did it what was her name?" she said. Eliza smiled as she looked over at Allison

" Alice Piezecki, she was accused of murdering her and jailed but was proven innocent. The case was never solved and went cold. I was just going over it." Eliza said. Allison started to get excited and looked over at me.

" Can I help her and open this case back up for further investigation? it would be good for me to do some independant work as well. " she said. This was only her first day, how could i let her just open up an old cold case on her first day.

" Absolutely not. You have only just started out learning the ropes. Put the file back and unless you are qualified to touch the files i suggest you don't go back there again Eliza." I stated. Allison seemed dissapointed at this and I can tell i was not doing a good job at setting a friendly face to her. But I am here to teach her as a  prioity not to be her best friend. Eliza nodded and with that started putting the papers back together.

" But, what if you open the case and I assist you. That way I am learning and we are solving a cold case plus helping Eliza get an answer." she stated. Allison looked very determined now, I can tell she won't budge from this case, it's all over face how fierce she was willing to argue this point. I let out a sigh and we came to an agreement. Eliza gave Allison a hug that was abnormally long and thanked her. I told Allison to leave the papers and files on my desk, and with that I have started the cold case of Jennifer Schecter.
