(BLAKE’S POV)
I awoke and looked at my phone. It was almost ten in the morning. Normally the guys wouldn’t let me sleep so long, so I assume they are at a signing or some shit.
I climb out of my bunk carefully and walk over to my bag. I get dressed slowly in a pair of ripped black skinny jeans, a BMTH tank top, and a cat collar choker. As a last minute addition, I clip my African Wild Dog tail on my belt loop. After putting on eyeliner and lipstick, I straiten and tease my hair and walk out of the bathroom area.
I slip my phone, wallet, iPod, and ear buds in my pocket before heading out of the bus. Andy is standing outside the BVB bus talking Chris. I walk over and the conversation stops. Andy gives me a soft hug as I stand next to him.
“Hey Little Creature, how have you been?” Chris asks as I hug him.
“Tired,” I respond as I yawn.
“Aren’t we all?” Andy mutters. I watch as Blade comes out of the bus. Almost immediately, Chris mutters something about meeting the guys and Andy walks off.
“Hi,” Blade whispers to me.
“Hey,” I whisper back, hiding behind my hair.
“Sorry for last night-“he starts.
“It was fine. I mean. Uh,” I say, face palming myself. He starts to laugh, making me blush even more.
“Would you, um, like to, uh, go to a movie or something later? Dad says we don’t need to be at the concert if we don’t want to. I don’t know about Austin, though. He may want you to go to the Of Mice set, which isn’t until like four or something. I guess we could-“I cut him off by placing a kiss on his cheek.
“I would love to, and I’m sure Aust will be fine with it, but I will double check with him,” I say, trying to hide my blush with my hair.
“Great, I’ll come by the OM&M bus around… two?” he asks. I nod.
“Sounds awesome,”
“Great, see you then, I guess. I’m gonna go see where Dad ran off to,” he says before walking off. I sigh contently and walk back to the Of Mice bus. The guys are all sitting in the living room. Tino, Phil, and Aaron are playing Xbox and Austin and Alan are talking to each other.
“Hey Austy,” I ask in a childish voice.
“Yeah? What do you need to ask me?” he asked, looking up to me.
“What? How do you know I need to ask you something?” I ask, faking hurt.
“You only speak like that when you need to ask/want something,” Alan responded nonchalantly.
“Gah. Whatever. Can I go out to the movies later? At two-ish?”
“With who?” Austin asks.
“Blade,” I mumble. I see everyone has their eyes trained on me.
“Like a date?” Alan asks excitedly. I sheepishly nodded.
“FINALLY!” Tino and Phil yell together. I look at them with my eyebrow raised as if to say ‘what the hell?’
“We had a bet to see how long it would take you two to go out,” Alan explained. He handed a twenty to Phil, Tino, and Aaron.
“Really?”
“Yeah,” Austin replied, dragging out the word.
“Gah, you guys are unbelievable,” I scoffed before turning to walk back to the bunks. I sat there, looking up random shit and listening to music.
(((TWO O’CLOCK)))
There was a knock on the bus door. I heard Austin open the door and greet the person before yelling, ”Blake!”
I hopped out of my bunk, walked past the mirror to fix my hair, and into the living area. Blade was wearing his outfit from earlier; a Shinedown shirt, grey skinny jeans, and his raccoon tail.
“Ready to go?” Blade asks as he holds his hands out. He hands me a single black pansy flower.
“Thank you,” I say as I tuck the flower into my hair. Austin smiles as I hug him and the guys before walking out of the bus with Blade.
We arrive at the movie theatre in silence. Not an awkward silence, but a comfortable one.
“What do you want to see?” Blade asks as we get in line for the ticket counter.
“Doesn’t matter to me,” I state lamely.
“Horror movie it is, then,” he smiles. I smile back, even though I absolutely HATE horror movies. They scared the shit out of me.
He bought the tickets, much to my protest, and led me into the theatre. I didn’t even pay attention to what movie we were seeing.
We walked, hand in hand, to seats in the middle of the room and waited for the show to start. Once it did, though, I kept my head buried in Blade’s shoulder.
I listened to the sickening juicy sound of something being cut off a something and flinched. I felt an arm wrap around me and tensed, then relaxed when I realized it was just Blade.

After the film, Blade and I walked back out of the theatre and back down the street towards the venue, where the guys would be finishing their sets/signings.
“I didn’t know you were afraid of horror movies, Wild Dog,” Blade commented.
“Pfft. Am not, raccoon,” I faked hurt.
“Uh-huh. Whatever. You hungry? There is a Sonic over there,” he asked, pointing to the bright arrow sign.
“Sure, let’s go,” I responded. We walked over to the restaurant and ordered in one of the boxy-thingy. When the food arrived, I got to the waiter and paid for my meal before Blade could.
We walked over to a near-by park and sat on a bench, talking about random things and munching our popcorn chicken and tots. Suddenly, Blade put his hand under my chin, forcing me to look him in his ocean-blue eyes.
“Wild Dog?” he asked.
“Yes?”
“Be mine?”
“Of course,” I whisper. He slowly leans in and lightly kisses me.
“I really like you Blake,” blade whispers.
“I really like you, too,” I whisper back.

As we are walking back, I get an idea.
“RACCOON!” I yell, making him jump and look at me.
“What?!”
“Okay, Alan, Phil, Tino, and Aaron made a bet to see how long it would take us to start dating, let’s mess with them!” I say.
“Okay, but how?” he asks. I quickly tell him the plan and he nods. Blade kisses my cheek quickly, then hurries off to the BVB bus.

(((BLADE’S POV)))
I walk into the bus and see Dad is the only one in there.
“Hey, kid. How’d the date go?” he asks.
“Terrible! She totally rejected me! I thought we had something after all these months, but I was wrong. We argued over EVERY FUCKING THING!” I shouted. Dad looked surprised, which was good.
“Really?” he asks.
“No,” I laugh. “But we need your help. Apparently the Of Mice guys made a bet on us and she wants to get back at them, so, we need your help. If Austin asks you anything, that is the story, got it?” He nods. “Let’s go!” I shout before putting on my best hurt/pissed face and walking over to the Of Mice bus.
This will be interesting.
