Revenge

Chapter 1

"Nox" I muttered quietly before slipping through my back door in Godrics Hallow.  My mom was sitting at the table reading the daily profit and looked very worried.  I decided to try to slip upstairs to my room and just tell her that I had been there this hole time and when she came looking for me I was stuck under the bed.  It seemed pretty believable to me so I started walking up the stairs.  I had one step left and then I heard the angry voice of my mom, "Lily Luna Potter  come back here right now!".  I gulped and slowly turned around.  Mom had just used my middle name.  She NEVER uses my middle name, I was in trouble.  "Ya" I said giving her a guilty smile.  "You know perfectly well that you should not be using magic outside of school, or before school starts."she said.  "It was just lumos!" I wined.  She gave me a piercing look and said " Just because you're in a wizarding family gives you no excuse to use any magic outside of school.  You're dad and I didn't even give James his wand until he left for Hogwarts because he would probably wreck everything in this house and Albus didn't even touch his want because he was terrified to get expelled before even going to Hogwarts yet you think its fine just to do little spells?".  I heard my dad come home and decided that it was a good time to leave.  I walked into my room and decided to double check that I had everything I would need for Hogwarts was in my trunk.  I was giving Diamond (my snowy owl) her dinner when the door opened and Jams walked in and sat on my bed.  "Hey Lily" he said.  "need any help packing?" he asked.  I shook my had.  "Don't be nervous about tomorrow lily, you'll be fine.  Hogwarts is really fun and even if you end up in Slytherin you will have Albus.  Hugo is going to but he will probably end up in Gryffindor but you would have a coupe classes together so you wont be that lonely."  with that he got up and left.  Well that did not make me feel better about going to Hogwarts tomorrow.  Even though dad had told me many times not to worry about what house ill be in because there all great.  I still really really wanted to be in Gryffindor.  Before I went to bed I triple checked that my trunk was packed and Diamond was sleeping peacefully in her cage.  I was about to fall asleep when mom and dad came in.  They told me that i was going to have an amazing year and how they were so proud of me.  Just before I fell asleep I knew that this was going to be an amazing year.  I was so wrong.
