Trigger Warnings: Self harm, suicide and bullying. Be careful and open minded.

Blank. Blank but blunt and nothing. A dulled fan in a dark, cold and lonely car. In the rain, driving away from the airport, going through it's confusing parking lots and pick-up areas. Seeing background characters, and being one. It was all what Tom was known for, confusing teenaged hormones mixed with an abyss of loneliness + no friends. Tom, his parents and his little brother have recently moved to the U.K. from Canada, because of his father's new job at a good paying company who specializes in food packaging and shipping canned goods. It was a great opportunity for the normal family, especially for Tim, Tom's twin brother.

There was no music playing, just the sound of white noise and his mother's occasional rambling such as, "how are you three enjoying this place so far," and "it's beautiful, isn't it?"

But those comments were useless to Tom, for he'd be the only person in that car to never truly be listening. He was blinded by his phone and social media and constant hope he'd be in luck to find his lost headphones. But even with social media in his face, he wondered what his school would be like.

Yes, high-school. A time where all teens would come together to bully one another and cry, a time where teen suicide was popular.

'Great, can't wait to slit my wrists,' thought Tom as he decided to open up Safari and look up the history of his new school.

It was all pointless, to wish for a great school year. It's never happened, and as soon as Tom was dragged into drama there was no getting back.

Eventually he'd sigh and turn off his phone completely, shoving it into his pocket and resting his chin onto his hand to look out the cold window. These rain drops seemed so, calming. So reassuring that maybe everything won't be as bad as it might be.

That maybe, just maybe...

Everything will be different.
