Waking up to a gnome was NOT how I imagined starting the day. I wasn't scared though. Waking up to unusual things in my face was daily thing, I even have it on my schedule. I just assumed it was my brother Wyatt. "WYATT!!!" I screamed. I heard a loud thud come from the other room. He must have fallen off his bed. I grinned in satisfaction. A minute later a short disheveled looking twelve year old boy with long brown hair poked his head into my room. " Hey sis." He said with a cheeky smile on his face. I threw the gnome at him, sadly it missed him by an inch. "Take your stupid gnome back!" " Is that why you called me in here?" He asked while scratching his head. Hmm, he only does that when he's nervous. " Why else would I have called you?" "That" he said while pointing to the spider on the wall, currently three inches from my head.
I screamed and ran to the other side of the room. I'm deathly afraid of spiders. "So, the gnome isn't mine but have fun with your new friend." He sprinted out of the room before I could throttle him.
"Clara, get your lazy but out of bed." My twin brother Tyler said. He walked in and saw the spider immediately. He chuckled and walked away. He's probably getting something to kill it with. Sure enough, five minutes later he returned with one of Wyatt's comic books. "He created this problem so now his book is gonna pay for it." Tyler said. I shrugged. What better revenge is there than getting spider guts on one of your brother's favorite comic books. He can always buy another anyways. BOOM! " Your spider problem has been solved." "My hero." I said while pretending to swoon. He laughed and left me to get ready. "Well that was hectic." A voice said. "Go away Wyatt." "Why did you have to use my comic book?" I heard Wyatt whine from what sounded like the kitchen. If Wyatt was in the kitchen, who just spoke? I turned around to see the gnome sitting on my bed. Tyler probably put it there. Maybe I just imagined the voice. I shrugged and changed into a plain black top and jeans. " Nice." The voice said again. I turned around and saw the gnome WALKING!
