I passed the wooden sign that writes "Welcome to Mystic Falls". I sighed out loud driving through the town. Some of the older buildings are here but have been refurbished. I passed a place called Mystic Grill. Such an original name. I rolled my eyes but pulled up a couple stores down. I jumped out, grabbing my wallet, car keys and phone. I walked down to the grill walking in.
The place had a homey feel to it. It had warm lighting, wood furniture with pool tables at the back and a wooden bar. I walked over to the bar sitting down on one of the stools. The bartender came over. "What you want babe?" I smiled at him.
"Bourbon." He put a glass in front of me and filled it.
"I haven't seen you around before."
"Yeah, I just got into town." I smiled at him.
"Ah, so you're a new comer." I nodded my head and he smiled. "On the house." I smiled and thanked him. I took a sip of the drink, looking around the place. A couple seats down on the bar I heard the name, Klaus. I listened to more not looking over. "Not if you found a weapon that could kill him." I heard a male's voice say.
"There is no weapon that -" I heard an oddly familiar voice say. "What do you know?"
"I know you need to apologise."
"You got to be kidding me." The voice said.
"Are you incapable of remorse? Just apologise!" A new voice said.
"You're right. I didn't have to kill you. I do a lot of things I don't have to do." The other man that wanted the apology laughed.
"That's good enough. Meet me at the old Lockwood Cellar. Bring a shovel. Come alone."
"What, you gonna bury me alive?" I'm searching my brain for where I know that voice.
"Don't tempt me." I heard the man walk away.
"Damon?" I whispered to myself. It's Damon's voice. I looked over surprised. It's him. I got up shaking, bourbon in hand, slowly walking towards him. I tapped his shoulder he turned around to face me. He eyes widened shocked.
"Calamity?" Damon stood up shocked. I pulled him into a hug and pulled away quickly then throwing my drink into his face. "What was th-"
"I thought you were dead Damon." My eyes started to water. "Who turned you? That bitch Katherine?" Damon nodded his head. "What about Stefan is he.... is he alive?"
"Yes." Damon pulled me into a hug and wrapped his arms around me. "When we woke up we didn't know what happened to you." Damon told me wiping away the tears that have rolled down my face and I smiled at him sadly.
"You guys were family to me and when I saw you guys get shot and not wake up. I couldn't - I couldn't handle the pain of knowing my brothers were dead so I left. I sailed across the ocean to Britain." Damon pulled me in for another hug then looked me up and down.
"You look great Cal, love the tattoos and piercings." I giggled at him.
"Thanks, you don't look too bad yourself." I told him giggling then turned to the man he was sitting with. "I'm sorry how rude of me." I stuck out my hand. "The names Calamity Hale." He shook my hand still confused.
"Alaric Saltzman." He looked between us, he hesitated a bit before asking, "How old are you?" I laughed.
"Why Alaric, that's nothing you should ask a lady. But if you must know I am 23 but I've been 23 for 636 years." I said with a smile. He seemed surprised at me and nodded his head. I turned my head to look between the two. "What is this I hear about Niklaus?" I snarled. Damon looked at me shocked.
