Marlon Jackson was an intern to a Doctor named Marcus Hamillton, but he prefers Dr. Hamillton. Dr. Hamillton was no ordinary doctor he had super intelligence. Growing up people called him a freak, monster, a mutant. He longed for a chance to prove to people he was no monster but in the end he realized the world is full of monsters but he was not. His father was a drunk, he used to rape his mother and cut her with broken beer glasses. His mother knew Marcus was special and she loved him so, but one day his father killed her. No one could ever prove it but Marcus knew. Marcus thought he was better than anyone with his smart mind, he posioned his father's beer, took all his money, and ran off. Finally he came across a good family and became a doctor at an early age of 19 and became a professional at age 21. Back to the story in hand, Marlon Jackson was a good fellow wanting to become as famous and wonderful as Dr. Hamillton. But Dr. Hamillton was not perfect, the board didnt agree to his ideas on manipulating genetics and cross species experiments. Dr. Hamillton thought they were nuts, jealous even. He secretly been doing the experiments for 6 months. Marlon had an idea to use solar energy and using darkness as an energy source they made fun of him. Dr. Hamillton agreed with him on solar energy as an energy source to power houses and stuff, but he wasnt sure about using the darkness as a source. However, Hamillton saw importance in Marlon's ideas like flying cars and planes that can go in space. Marlon was in love with a woman named Dulce. In 1932 Marlon and Dulce hid their love from people. She was latina and Marlon was white. He also hid his little half brother James cause he was black. Marlon came home and said "James, I'm home." But there was no answer. He went upstairs and saw his little brother sleeping. Marlon didnt care bout someone's skin tone he believed all people are equals. He heard of a place called New Hope City, a place where everyone is treated equal black, latin, gay, straight it didnt matter there. Marlon decided its time to make a change. He went out, got in his car, and drove. He parked at a mansion, he walked inside and saw Dulce cleaning up a spill. There were two old women purposely spilling their tea. Marlon said Dulce were leaving! The old women said, "She is not leaving til she cleans this mess!" Marlon said, "Well, stop spilling your tea maybe she can leave! Dulce forget about the mess lets go!" Dulce got up and said, "I hate serving you! I'm not a slave and I'm not gonna let you treat me like shit!" Dulce picked up a tea cup and poured it on the woman. Marlon said, "Thats my girl." Dulce untied her hair, walked up to Marlon, and kissed him. She said, "Oh yeah. I spit in your food when you wasn't looking. The second woman spit out the food she was eating as Marlon and Dulce walked out. Dulce said, "I'm so glad you came!" Marlon said, "I know you me and James are leaving this dump!" Dulce said, "Where are we going?" Marlon said, "New Hope City, a place where no one can judge us except God." Dulce said, "What about the mayor here? He is a KKK leader, he'll kill us before we go anywhere!" Marlon said, "Do you trust me?" Dulce said, "No." Marlon said, "Do you trust me?!" Dulce said, "Yeah I do!" She held Marlon's hand the whole time. When they got to their house it was in flames. Marlon got out and cried, "James!!!!!" Dulce said, "We got to go! I hear someone coming!" Marlon said, "I got to save James!" Dulce said, "Hurry!" Marlon said, "There's a gun in my briefcase!" Marlon went inside the house in flames, he ran upstairs and saw his brother. He was dead before, he was stabbed to death and raped. Marlon cried as he jumped out of the window because of all the flames. He got back in the car and drove off. Dulce saw the tears coming down Marlon's face. He saw kkk members burning crosses and the road was blocked. Marlon ran through the barricades, he and Dulce was out of town. He contacted Dr. Hamillton and told him all about it. Doctor said, "I'm ashamed to call myself a human. Are you and Dulce okay?" Marlon said, "Yes, but James is dead. They murdered and raped him. Dr. Hamillton said, "I'm so sorry. We will get them. Remember my experiments. I'm so close to making both speices merge. We can use them to get back at them." Marlon said, "We're leaving to New Hope city." Dr. Hamilliton said, "I know an abandoned factory there. We can use to make the experiments." Dulce said, "A cop is coming!" Marlon said, "I got to go." Cop said, "You speak english? Hello?! I'm talking to you! Hey you, there. Are you with her?" Marlon said, "Um yes. She is my maid, I was taking her home." Cop said, "Teach her some manners, boy!" Cop walked off and Dulce said, "Maid, really?" Marlon said, "You're dressed like a maid. What was I suppose to say? 'Hey me and my latina girlfriend escaped from a town full of kkk members and they burned my house down and killed...' Oh god!" Marlon started to cry and Dulce said, "Look, I'm sorry. We're 45 miles to New Hope City. We can go to a hotel, stay for tonight and tomorrow we'll find a house to rent." Marlon said, "You're right. Come on." Dulce said, "I'll drive while you relax ok?" Marlon said, "Ok." At Dr. Hamilliton's house Marcus went outside with a gun and a machette he went to Marlon and Dulce's old town. He killed dozens of people, he burned down all the houses, killed so many kkk members, some weren't even apart from it. They brought guns and rode in their trucks, Marcus threw a grenade, caculating the trucks speed and weight, and destoyed 6 trucks with one grenade. When he was at their city hall the Mayor was in his red kkk clothes loading his shotgun hiding. Marcus went in, The Mayor got up from his desk and shot Marcus. He was down. Thats what the Mayor thought. Marcus got up, took his coat and it was a black suit Marcus was wearing. He said, "I knew you were gonna shoot me. I wanted you to." Mayor said, "Your the devil!" Marcus screamed, "Your the Devil! Killing people because of their skin! That kind of hate and evil makes me sick!" Mayor kept shooting Marcus but no affect. Marcus said, "This suit allows me to surrive a fucking tank you really think your shells have any use against me!" Marcus took out a needle and said, "This is my favorite poison. It will make u feel every pain imagineable. It's like your dying a thousand times without even dying. While your heart gives out." Marcus stabbed the needle into the Mayor's neck and walked out. Mayor starting screaming in agony for 5 minutes then stopped. Marcus started laughing. "Finally, at New Hope City, Dulce!" said Marlon. Dulce said, "Yeah lets find us a hotel." Marlon said, "Room for two." The Man said, "You cant let her stay, she might be mistaken as our workers. Get her some new clothes I'll get you a room." At first they thought it was a race thing, they were happy it wasnt like that. Dulce got new clothes and they stayed in for the night. Marlon went out to find a job but nothing was opening. Dr. Hamilliton called and told Marlon he is now his partner after that they made alot of money. Its 1935 now and Marlon and Dulce are married they live in a beautiful house. Dr. Hamillton is so caught up in his work he actually lives in the abandoned factory. Dulce was afraid of the experiments they were doing. Marlon told her they were not dangerous, but she knew he was lying. At the Factory, "Marcus, everything is working fine, sir!" said Marlon. Marcus said, "Good and you never said my first name before? Were that close, huh?" Marlon said, "Like brothers!" Marcus smiled and said, "Get the the dog and lets start experiment 996#." Marlon said, "I'm not sure a dead dog will work." Marcus said, "Trust me. It will work, now put him in the pod." Marcus said, "Good. Now turn on the cross generator!" Marlon turned it on and Marcus said, "Now put the thorn bush in the generator." Marlon put green gloves on picked up the thorn bush as the cross generator sucked the thorn bush and the gloves. Marlon said, "Sorry." Marcus said, "Its fine. I expected as much. It will still work, friend. Now pull the lever, i'll get the shotgun." Marlon pulled the lever as a green glow showed in the pod. It stopped. Marcus came back with the shotgun, openned the pod, and the rotting dog was still dead. Mutated, the meat was glowing green and the teeth were yellow. The dog got up. Marcus saw the dog and liked him but Marlon thought it was a monster. The dog saw Marlon and spikes appeared on the dog. Green slimey drool coming out of the dog. The dog took it's spikes back in. Marcus pulled his hand out. Marcus had bacon and the dog to ran toward him. Marlon took the shotgun and shot the dog. Marcus punched Marlon hard and said, "You killed him, you bastard! He was just coming here to eat the bacon I had." Marlon said, "I'm sorry." Marcus said, "My poor baby. He is barely breathing. Marlon, just stay here and dont touch anything! I'm taking him home to treat him. My wife is asleep so she won't notice him." Marcus left carrying the dog. Marlon sat at the table reading Marcus' notes. He realized when Marcus told the board about his ideas they called him nuts and fired him. Marcus got mad and tore off one of their ears. His license was terminated and he was making these experiments to make his own army to take over the world. He called Dulce and told her everything thats been happening. Outside of the window a ghastly shadow bird shaped creature flew to the window. It saw Marlon talking on the phone with Dulce. It looked like it was in love with Marlon. It made a sound in the pod and Marlon went in. The pod close and Marlon started beating on the door rapidly, screaming very loudly but no one showed. The thing burst the window open, it was looking around. It did not want the pod to close on him so it thought the generator was the way to open the pod but it turned it on and got sucked inside the cross generator. Both Marlon and the thing merged. Marcus came back, saw the generator, and said, "It's complete." He saw Marlon's footprints heading to the pod, he opened it and saw a black figure laying there. Marcus said, "Interesting human cross species?" Marlon said, "I'm not a experiment, Marcus." Marcus took him to a mirror and Marlon said, "What am I?" Marcus said, "What ever that fused with you. All black, white eyes. Hmmm, this is interesting." Marlon pushed Marcus to the wall and said, "What the Hell am I?" Marcus said, "A god!" Hours later Marcus said, "I tested your blood cells. You have no blood. Well, it's darkness. It's like the power of darkness fused with you." Marlon said, "But the generator only eats solid things" Marcus said, "I know thats the question. What is the thing that has power of darkness? You can't leave out there looking like that." Marlon said, "People won't judge me because of what I look like." Marcus said, "I know that, but they will judge you for what u can do. For all we know you can endanger everyone. You can't be in sunlight." Marlon said, "What do you mean I can't be in sunlight?" Marcus said, "Walk out there." Marlon walked outside, came back, and passed out. He awoke and saw he was smoking, like his body was smoking. Marcus said, "You were out for 5 hours!" Marlon said, "I can't see my wife looking like this!" Marcus said, "If she loves you it doesnt matter!" Marlon said, "It's all your fault! If you werent trying to make an army I wouldn't be like this! I read your notes!" Marcus said, "So, what if i ruled the world? It will be better." Marlon said, "Will people be slaves to you? Do whatever you want?" Marcus said, "No, we'll we have to make rules." Marlon said, "Fuck that! Freedom is what i want!" Marcus said, "I can give you freedom. Help me!" Marlon said, "I want Freedom for everyone, not just me. I know I'm a white guy. I have freedom but it's not like that when i see a black kid getting beat because of his skin. I feel like I'm that boy. You want to rule everyone and hurt them. Not because of race because of hatred and vengence. No, your no better than the rest of those people." Marcus said, "I'm not like them! I killed everyone at that town so they won't hurt you too!" Marlon said, "You did what?! No wonder you're responsible for all those deaths. Some weren't with the kkk!" Marcus said, "But they supported it!" Marlon said, "Your....The Monster!" Dark energy surrounded Marlon. Marcus said, "Look at you! Am I the monster?" Marlon saw the energy and said, "If you try to hurt more people I'm coming for you!" Marcus said, "We had a good run." Marcus threw a rock at the window. The sun burned Marlon. Marcus ran off with all his notes. Marlon destroyed the generator and the pod. He called Dulce to come where he is at. Dulce came and went in. Marlon said, "You were right. I should of quit." Dulce said, "What did he do? We can fix it." Marlon came out and said, "No, we cant." Dulce was scared out of her mind. His dark dark body gave her chills. Dulce said, "I'm so sorry. We can." Marlon said, "There's nothing we can do. I can't walk in the daylight without getting burned or passing out." Dulce had an idea. She made some clothes that matched his skin. Dulce said, "Try to go outside." Marlon went out and nothing happenned, but his head was burning. He went back in and Dulce said, "There must be something he left we can use. Here. Wear this wrist band." Marlon did and Dulce said, "Wow! Your head is back to normal!" Marlon said, "It's not. The band is only making an illusion." Marlon took off the band and his dark head and face appeared. Dulce said, "I'm trying my best here. Ok so wear the damn band. Go outside and see if its works." Marlon did and it worked. Dulce said, "So, what are we gonna do?" Marlon said, "Hopefully, I stopped Marcus from making more monsters." Dulce said, "You have abilites. You can do so much more, you can be a, I don't know, a hero." Marlon said, "A hero? Fire fighters and police officers and doctors are heroes. I'm just a freak!" Dulce said, "You're not a freak, Marlon. You're super." Marlon said, "A superhero?" Dulce said, "Right. You have abilites like no other and you protect people." Marlon said, "I don't even know how to use these abilities." Dulce said, "We can work together." Marlon said, "Well, I can't just tell people who I am. You'll get hurt." Dulce said, "What about Darkman?" Marlon said, "No." Dulce said, "Wow, you dont even have a Shadow?!" Marlon said, "Shadow Man?" Dulce said, "I like it. Shadow Man the superhero maybe you're the first?" Marlon said, "Shadow Man The First Superhero of New Hope City." Dulce said, "Lets first help you use your powers!"
