Phil's pov:

My body jolted up with a shock. I opened my eyes, expecting to see the forest where I collapsed in. But to my suprise I wasn't, I now noticed that I was bound to a chair in a room far too familiar. My happiness about me being back in control again was quickly replaced with pure panic.

My eyes gazed all over the room, I know this room as the torture room. I began to breathe uneven when I examined all the painful looking tools that hang on the wall and laid on the table besides me. One of those tools was a book, it was covered with symbols that were meant for one thing: witchcraft. "No no no, not again." I muttered under my breath. I tried to turn my head as far as possible to look if someone stood behind me, fortunately nobody was. I turned my head back to face the front, now just noticing the operation table that stood a couple meters from me. (How did I not see this first?) I thought, still panicking.

On top of the table laid a blanket, but the blanket showed a form of a body. Someone laid underneath it. I gulped at the thought of why the person didn't move anymore.

But then, a door was roughly being opened, like someone kicked it in. I jumped at the sudden sound. I would have reached the ceiling if it wasn't for these chains that held me down. I tried looking to the direction of the loud sound, but a force made me to sit still.

A person passed me and walked to the operation table, leaning over the body. "So, Phil, welcome back," the person said with a lot of sarcasm. It was Isaac. "I honestly hoped to never need to do this ever again," Isaac continued. He straightened his posture and turned his attention to me, he cocked his head a bit. "I have to admit, I am impressed. Sad, but impressed."

I looked up to him, questioning what he meant by that. "What?" My voice was hoarse and quiet. "Ceadis can't keep you under control, so he needs a new host," Isaac explained as if it was the most normal thing on earth. He crossed his arms, "What a shame though, I actually liked your face."

"What do you mean?" I tried to sound bold and unafraid but all what came out of my mouth was a small squeak. Isaac heaved a sigh, "We're in the middle of something big and you, as Ceadis' host, are not helping. But, luckily, we have a plan B. Not Ceadis' favourite, but we have to do with what we've got."

I couldn't comprehend what I was hearing. (Ceadis doesn't need me? I'm free? But who's the new host?)

"Oh Phil, you're adorable when you're so hopeful. But no, you're not free, we're keeping you here. Someone has grown attached to you, and wants to keep you. And the host is someone who's life ended too early, they trusted the wrong person. Their death  needed to happen though, I have to admit that I didn't want it to come this far." Isaac heaved a heavy sigh before continuing, "I'd never liked the poor soul, or his rat for a friend." This was too much information at once, my mind refused to process this all. Wh-where's Ceadis now?"

"Oh, he's still in you, but trapped in your mind. You're stronger than we thought," Isaac sounded almost disappointed, but why? "So I need to do a little spell and foilá, we can transfer his essence from you to him." Isaac pointed to the table. I couldn't believe it, I'm going to be released from Ceadis?

Isaac chuckled with a evil undertone, "Hate to break it to you, my friend, but no. You're going to be one of us, as one of Ceadis' second commands. He thinks you're smart fella, and I agree, you are."

I began to panic yet again, I don't want to join. Hell, I didn't even want to be Ceadis' host. "Icy please, don't do this. We can stop this madness together, he's vulnerable now, we can end hi-" I was greeted with a hard object that was being slammed into my face. "How dare you to calm me that?!" Isaac roared, his brown eyes now glowed a bright red. "You're lucky some people like you here!"

Without another word, he raised his hands and prevented me from speaking. I tried to make a sound, but I was like my voice had been stolen. "The last time you'd almost made my ears bleed with your screams," He said as he walked over to the table and picked up the book with weird symbols.

He flipped through the pages until he found the page he wanted. He smirked a devilish smirk, "Did I mention that it's going to hurt like a son of a bitch?" He said with a chuckle. My eyes widened in horror, if I could speak I already had spewed hundreds of pleads. I already tried to dig into his old memories with using his old nickname but that didn't work out the way I wanted. I shook my head, violently, while tugging at the chains that held me.

"Don't play with fire if you don't want the burns it leaves in your skin," Isaac muttered before he began to chant the spell. As soon he started, I felt my insides burn, just like my head, and the rest of my body. I opened my mouth, screaming with no sound. It felt like I was put on mute, like this was a TV show and someone was watching through the screen. But that's impossible, nobody can, this is no show, or book, this is real.

There was something inside of me, twisting around, fighting to get out. I began to cough violently, my eyes widened in horror as I saw black smoke exiting my mouth. Isaac walked over to the table, still reading the spell. He removed the blanket, revealing a young man's head. The smoke entered the man's mouth.

The burning ceased and I hung my head, my energy completely drained from my body. Isaac had stopped reading. "Now we wait!" He happily exclaimed. I could feel his pride. I tried to calm myself but my breathing quickened and I began to feel dizzy.

Isaac noticed and walked up to me. "No no no, Phil, you weren't supposed to do this. You're strong, I thought you'd survive the spell!" His words were faint, I could barely make out what they meant. My heart was pounding in my chest, so fast that I thought it would explode any moment. "Phil, you bastard don't you die on me now!" I heard footsteps, they were so loud and made me flinch, then, something was pressed against my lips. I felt a liquid being poured in my mouth, after that, my eyelids became too heavy to stay open. I drifted away from and felt myself falling unconscious.
