It had always just been the two of them-- Brian and Tim. Hoodie and Masky...
Parteners in crime.
They worked for the SlenderMan.

For the past week, Masky and Hoodie had been left with hardly an order on what to do.

The fire rose up like a wall-- it surrounded him, suffocated him. His own work now fighting against him. He shut his eyes, police sirens nearing, heard over the crackling flames. He'd be taken away. Panic ran through him before a dull sensation took over. The static from before filling his mind even as he tried to claw it out. It grew louder and more unbearable until he crumpled to the ground, burning grass catching him.

Silence hung in the room. Almost tangible as both men refused to break it. Hours ticked by, the two shifting about and eventually holding a conversation or two.
They must of had fallen asleep or lost consciousness because they found their eyes opening, noses filled the smell of burnt flesh and smoke

A teenage boy lay on the floor. Brown hair which covered his face, he wore a grey and baige hoodie with white stripes and demin jeans. Golden googles and a mouth gaurd lay next to him.
His hands were bandaged and blood. From what they could see his skin was extremely pale- almost grey.

Tim was the one to first approach, pushing the boy's messy hair aside to check for breathing. He had burn marks and dirt on his face, arms and clothes. He was also clutching an orange handled, sharp-looking hatchet, and a plain, dull one. Tim held a hand close to the boy's mouth then nodded.

"He's alive. I suppose we're to keep it that way. For now." Brian nodded and took the hatchets from the boy's loose grip and hid them, very aware of the dangers poses by the scrawy kid.

There wasn't extactly many places to put the kid. The shack they were in had two rooms-one that had a worn down, stolen mattress in it and a lamp. The other had two unbearbley uncomfortable chairs. A three legged, banjacked table and a few lamps and candles. There was techically a bathroom but it was a hole in the wall that led to a stolen bathroom pod from a building site and they probably shouldn't leave the kid in there.

The brunette was dumped on the mattress and left there. They'd both stay awake throughout the night to keep an eye on the kid incase he tries to kill them. Sleep wasn't a thing that either of them really got anyway, aimless wandering was the fun activity that they spent much of their time doing.

It has always been the two of them, sitting in silence or wandering about or arguing and now there was this kid just left with them.
