Collin's P.O.V
I heard her screaming. I'm not even sure her name or who she is but it gave me pleasure to hear the screams. I looked into her brown eyes just as I was about to stab her and they looked very familiar to someone's I knew..oh...my mothers.
Flashback//
"Collin! Get your lazy ass out of bed!" Yelled my mom. I looked over at my clock and it was already 8:10 oh crap I was late! "Sorry mommy! The alarm didn't go off!"
"Don't mommy me you useless piece of shit!" That's the usual stuff my mom said to me.
"Yes ma'am!" I yelled. I put on my torn shirt and ripped up pants. My mom never bought me clothes. I also had one pair of shoes and my gross uncut toes poked out of the shoes. I ran to the door and grabbed my paper bag that I had to use for a backpack. I tried to give my mom a hug but she punched me in the face (like usual) I ran out the door crying.
Back to the present//
I couldn't wait any longer I stabbed her 3 times in the stomach and 1 time in the chest. Her loud shaky breathe finally stopped. I threw her body in the back of my van and brought her to the bridge. I threw her body over the bridge, hoped in my van drove away.Just thinking about my mother brought the tears to my eyes. I dont think about her much but when I do it always leads to the horrible memories of her beating me. I loved her at one point in my life, but things have changed.
I slam my head against the wheel and the horrible beeping sound made me stop. I look around and finally find my destination, Carry's Bar. I pull into the very limited parking lot. I walk in getting no second looks. I walk to my usual seat and wait for the bar tender.
A young woman with brown hair and beautiful brown eyes came over to me. She must be new here because I've never seen her pretty face before. A lot of people are looking at her but she doesn't seem to notice. Her long hair is up in a bun and she's smiling at me.
"Hello sir, welcome to Carry's Bar and what can I get you?" She says sweetly, her voice is like honey.
"Uh-uh I'll just have the hamburger, no pickles and a beer, I don't care what kind just something strong. " I said.
"Okay sir. Your order will be right out" she walked away with the biggest smile I have ever seen.
I sit there thinking about who I was gonna kill next. Ugg maybe that annoying old cat lady next door. She fucking bothers me. Or Jim From my van repair shop. He is a total dick. Yep definitely him.
"Sir? Sir? You're food is ready" I looked up and realized that beautiful girl was taking to me again.
"Oh thank you." I said and actually smiled at her. She hands me my food and beer. I take a sip of it, and it's stronger than what'd I expect from her. She looks to be a goody goody, I wonder why she's working at a bar?
I take a glace at her and notice that she has a name tag on, Eva, what a unique and beautiful name. It matches her.
"You have a nice name!" I tried to say over all the loud talking.
"What?" She asks."I said that you have a nice name."
"Oh thank you umm-"
"Collin. My names Collin" I said finishing her sentence."Oh well thank you Collin. I really like that name too." We talked about our names for a couple more minutes but then she said she had to serve other people. She also took my cup to give me another refill. As she came back I noticed there was something written on the styrofoam cup. It was her number. She smiled sweetly at me and walked away. Eva was certainly a fierce little firecracker.
