It all happened too fast....
I was walking home from school that day, the day I was kidnapped. It was already a bad enough day, to begin with. I was bullied, physically abused, and got an F in Science. Science isn't my strong suit. Anyway, I was walking home on the sidewalk passing through the park thinking about what I was going to say to my mom when I got home and she saw my scars and wounds. I even thought about what to say to the principle and Becca, who is, by the way, my bully and abuser. I stopped at the crosswalk for a car that was for sure speeding. And they thought I was the problem to yell out of their window, " See you in h.e. double hockey sticks( which I won't say )!"
I thought about replying with "See you there!." I knew I couldn't do it, but it was killing me. To ease the pain, I just mumbled it under my breath. I continued to walk down the crosswalk and onto the sidewalk. I stopped at the café that was there and ordered a nice cold mocha frappuccino then, I took a seat. I felt like someone was watching me, but I knew no one there so I kept my cool and remained calm. Next, to me, three men in black, white, and red suits and tuxes sat at the next table. They looked like secret service but in the city kind of public. They looked strange and kept staring at me and talking like I was a criminal and they were going to arrest me. It felt weird so I said hi and they nodded back in reply. I didn't know what they wanted from me, so I went inside for a refill. I went there every day after school, so they always have my frap ready and I'm a member. My friend, Sahla, which is pronounced Say-La works there.
Anyway, I went up to the counter and got my refill, looked behind me, and you wouldn't guess what I saw. The three men were right behind me, and they noticed me staring at them. The shortest guy whispered something to his boss then got smacked upside the head. Fir a minute, I was starting to think maybe it was a coincidence they were getting a refill too. I then remembered they never had a drink, to begin with. I started to fill a little nervous, I don't know what I felt, maybe crept out or stalked. I walked out of the coffee shop because I wanted to go to the police station. I had to figure out why they were following me, but then again, it might just be a coincidence. When I walked out, the men walked out and I was getting fed up with it. I turned around and looked at them, which neither one of them had a drink in their hands. I couldn't take it anymore, so I stopped walking when I arrived at the corner. One of them bumped into me and mumbled something that sounded like "Uh Oh!", but I wasn't sure about anything anymore. I turned around facing them and yelled: "Why in the world are you following me?"
One of the taller guys nodded and the other taller guy with the short guy started coming towards me. The shorter guy covered my mouth while the taller guy dragged me towards a white van that coincidently happened to be there. I started to scream, but the grip on my mouth and arm grew with a more sharp pain. I knew screaming wouldn't work because there was no one around walking or in shops literally. I knew I could die and no one would notice me. I thought about how my mom would react when she found out I was missing, no even worse, taken. I knew she would try and look for me because every day I was at home at that time. My mom knew that I went to the cafe after school every day. I was getting put into the white van, but I had a glance of someone running who looked familiar. They were calling out a name, that was matching exactly with mine. They called out the name Ivy Le'Anne Smith. They yelled out " Ivy Lee Smith. That is my name except for no one, but my mom calls me Lee. I knew it had to be her. I called out "Mom! Mom! Where are you?"
Then the person looked towards my direction and yelled out "Lee?" and started to run to the van. She then stopped in her own tracks. I didn't know why when she could have been saving me. I got shoved into the van feet first with my head hitting the door. They shut the door and hopped in, then pulled off. I watched my mom hop in her truck and pull off right behind it. She caught up with them, then started to slam the butt of her car on the side of the van which made it go offroad a little bit. They then slammed into our red and black Toyota which made a dent on the side. I hoped my mom was fine with no injuries. I was the very opposite because during all this action I kept getting my head banged up against the side of the door. All because of the slamming I was damaged and injured badly. My whole life I have always wanted someone to fight over me and I got my wish. This was just in a different way, I hoped boys would fight over me, but at least I'm valuable in others eyes.
