Chapter 3 - New Friend or foe

Baffled by the passed events, I went about my work as per usual for the next two days.
Yesterday Andy messaged me and said he is going on a two week business trip out of town. I figured its for his promotion.
It's me alone for now, how I missed Andy but he's gotten very busy these days, it makes me wonder all sort of things some good and some not so pleasant.
Quickly I brushed these thoughts away, I know Andy loves me very much he wouldn't do anything to hurt me.

It's was now lunch break, Wednesday 4 May,2017. Just another usual day I thought, things have calmed down, however Mr Newton death is still a topic of controversy. Anyways Mr.Parker seems to be handling our office duties quite well, a real pro at this stuff.

I finished eating my lunch early and I decided to clean up my desk a bit. As I was going through my drawers I noticed the letter I got from two days ago, I can't believe it didn't intrigue me enough to read it before lol. I carefully opened the seal and took out the letter it was neatly handwritten to my surprise, this person really took his time with it. I began to read it

" My dear Seraphina
Soon enough we will be united for all of eternity. I have waited long, searched high and low but finally I have found you.
We belong together and I promise to do everything in my power to ensure this. Be patient the time is near

"Well now this is taking a prank too far" I muttered inaudibly.

"Ping Ping Ping"

My phone went off its another message yet again anonymous, It read "My princess took you long enough to read my letter, I see u look stunning as always, I wonder tho y don't u reply my texts we can have a conversation I'm sure u will enjoy my company since he's not around Sera"

Alright if I said that was a prank I lied to myself, this s*** is real, this person is stalking me and he knows Andy isn't around. "I'm scared" those words ran through my head repeatedly.
All of a sudden my hands moved " Whoever u are, stop playing this prank before I call the police and leave me alone "
I replied to the Unknown stalker known as A as I saw at the bottom of the letter.

Instantly a reply followed "My love, the police can do nothing to me, and I'm not playing a prank, would u like to meet me to verify this"
"NO" was all I could have replied.
My heart sank, yet again I felt helpless, scared to the core.

Then all of a sudden I felt a hand rest on my shoulder, thinking its Miranda I was about to say "Mira.." I was cut short by an Sharp soothing heavy voice "Sera, are you alright?, you look shaken, is something wrong ?"
It was none other than Mr Parker, "Yes I'm quite ok Mr Parker, no need to worry" I replied with an instant smile.

Mr Parker was not convinced he offered to take me out that afternoon he said he had tickets to the new movie "50 shades of grey" well I have no particular interest in the movie but he was very insistent and after 20 minutes of arguing he persuaded me to go as well as to call him Alex and not Mr Parker. This felt indeed awkward as he's my boss and that's a movie I would prefer to see with Andy.

Nevertheless, the afternoon finished rather quickly, and Alex was quite hyped all afternoon I wondered why. I packed up and when I was about to leave at the exit Alex called out to me "Sera,Sera"
I waited and he told me that he will pick me up at 7 Sharp and with that he smirked and went back to the office.

When I processed what just happened I realised that everyone in the lobby just heard that. I have never felt so flustered in my life.
I just turned away and proceeded to leave the building. While in the parking lot I saw a note on my car windscreen.
" Oh brother, will these notes, letters and texts ever stop"

I yank it off and proceed to read it but this time it was from Rachel, she's a clerk from our Administration office, "Oh Seraphina don't think too high of your self just because MY Alex favours you, it will fade. Don't forget he's MINE so stay the f***away from him"
"Awesome"  I thought to myself this month just hates me. I just made another friend yay for me, who know it was this easy, so easy they all seem to have killer intent.
