I slowly made my way down the stairs and towards the living room where I heard Joker talking to his men. I stopped at the bottom of the stair case and waited for them to finish their conversation. I seriously didn't want to interrupt the Joker, god knows what kind of punishment I'd get for that.

One of the men that Joker was talking to noticed me standing there, and instantly dropped the beer bottle in his hand. All the other men in the room looked over at me with shocked expressions on their faces. It looked like they'd seen a ghost or something. A couple of them wolf whistled, which made me feel a little uncomfortable.

Joker then turned around to look at me, and he dropped the gun out of his hands, also with a shocked expression. He reached his hand out to me, signalling me to grab it. I swallowed the lump in my throat and slowly walked over to him. I hate all this attention, I wish they'd go back to their convention.

"My my Haylee, don't you look beautiful." He smiled as I hesitantly grabbed his hand.

His skin is a lot warmer than I thought it would be, a lot smoother too. Before he could lace our fingers together I pulled my hand away and hugged myself, looking down at the ground. Again with all the attention, I hate it.

"Boys, this is Haylee Quinn. My new princess and Gotham's new queen." Joker said proudly to his men.

He has literally replaced Harley with me. How could he replace someone he apparently loved. Joker picked his gun back off the ground and put it in the hostler around his shoulders. With a large smile on his face he and all the men headed towards the front door.

I'm contemplating on whether I should follow or not. He will get mad at me if I don't follow him, but I don't want to be apart of whatever crime he's about to do.

Actually, I don't even know what we're doing. Something illegal I imagine. Deciding that I don't want to get electrocuted again I ran over to him.

"Um Joker-"

"Mr J." He interrupted.

"Excuse me?"

He stopped walking and turned to face me, placing both his hands on my shoulders. He took a small step closer to me so that his face is inches away from mine. Okay that's way too close for my liking. I tried to take a step back but his grip is way too strong.

"You will address me as Mr J... or just J."

"Okay then J, where is it we're going exactly?" I asked, fiddling with the mallet behind me.

He threw his head black and laughed loudly. That laugh always sends shivers down my spine, and not in a good way. What did Harley even see in this monster? How could anyone ever learn to love him? Heck, how did he ever learn to love?

"To meet up with a few... friends of mine." He dropped his hands from my shoulders and calmed down his laugh.

I'm not sure if I want to meet any friends of the Joker. We continued to walk outside until we reached where his purple Lamborghini was parked. Damn he is stinking rich to afford that thing. Then again, he could have stolen it. Either way it's still cool.

"Ya like it doll face?" He asked.

I nodded as he opened the door for me. I got in and he ran around the front of the car and did the same. He started up the engine and suddenly sped off down the road.
