Twiggy sat in Zim's lap, whispering sweet nothing's to each other. I, on the other hand, sat across from them on the lounge room couch, screaming for Zim's attention silently. I always had feelings for Zim & Manson, but Twiggy was always there to intervene with my love life. So I was always there, on & off tour, feeling amiss around them. I followed them like a crazed stalker. But did they ever notice? No, they were too busy with that cross dressing son of a bitch. The door swung open, revealing a tall figure clad in black. Manson. Twiggy stood up, giving him immediate attention. More so, flirting. They walked out of the room, leaving me with the one I loved.
It was finally my turn with Zim.
"Hey," I greeted him with a polite smile.
"Hi," Zim waved ever-so-cutely. He stood up, walking toward the door. I stood up too, blocking the door. My hands clasped both of his shoulders.
"We can be together, just say yes," I said, staring him straight in the eyes.
"But what about Twiggy?" His eyes were glossy & innocent, trying to apprehend what I wanted of him."He has Manson," I leaned forward, our noses brushing slightly.
"But..."
"Don't you want someone you know loves you as much as you love them? Someone who won't have second thoughts about being yours?"
"Yes, but..." Zim started, backing away nervously.
"Hm? Twiggy? He'll be fine. He has Manson. And you won't have to chase after someone who doesn't really love you." Zim's eyes grew wide in realization. Perhaps he was considering my offer. I let him go, walked out that door, then walked outside. I wanted to show him that he only has a little time to think. So if he wants me, he'll have to say the words immediately.
"Pogo," Zim whined after me, just like a puppy chasing after its owner. It was adorable. I ignored him, though. I continued walking until I reached our front porch. Zim followed, that innocence in his face showed. But I knew him well enough to know that he was not innocent at all.
I rested my back against the wall, grabbing my box of cigarettes from my pocket. Inside, only three were left along with my lighter. Zim stood in front of me, smiling sweetly.
"Never gave me a chance to answer," Zim said as his arms snaked up my chest. His hands toyed with the hair near my neck.
"Gave you time to think," I said seemingly expressionlessly. But really, his presence alone was overwhelming enough. I wanted to give him affection immediately, but that would be a bit strange for me to do, now wouldn't it? Zim chuckled.
"It's a yes. It's been a yes the moment you asked. I just had to ponder about what will happen to Twiggy," he said as he burrowed his face into the crook of my neck. Twiggy. That blasted name again. Always there to intervene. What pains me the most is that he never fails to bother me even though he isn't around. It pains me that he was ruining what should have been a happy moment. I said nothing, for that would spoil the moment. Instead, my hands found its way up to his back. I massaged him softly.Zim pulled his face out of my neck after a while. He looked up at me, smiling.
"What's up?" I smiled, mirroring his smile. But I could never be as beautiful as Zim.
"Oh, nothing. Just the most handsome man on earth," he rolled his eyes playfully.
"Yeah?" I grinned.
"Yes. What's up with you?"
"Oh, y'know, just spending time with the most beautiful creature in the galaxy. Zim blushed, that smile of his never faltering.
Those lips of his... they were so pinkish & they looked so silky smooth. I wondered how they'd taste & feel on mine...
It all happened in an instant. My gaze was fixed on his beautiful lips, wanting to finally feel them. He mirrored the same thoughts. His lips met mine in a chaste lock. I opened my eyes, taking in the beautiful scene before me. I have longed for this to happen for so long. I glanced left, seeing Twiggy watching us from the window. He had tears streaming down his cheeks. I grinned, completely proud of what I've been doing.
Twiggy burst through the front door bawling. Twiggy way he ran showed that he was slightly intoxicated. Maybe not just slightly. Zim jumped, startled. Twiggy had ruined everything.
"Twiggy!" He called after him. He was about to go after him, but I refused to let him go.
"He'll be fine," I reassured him. Truth was, I wasn't so sure myself. Twiggy was high. It's either that someone would kidnap him, rape him, murder him, report him, arrest him, he gets into an accident, or that he gets lost. Whichever way works perfectly fine, because I wasn't very find of him... if you couldn't tell.
"He gets scared..." Zim stated.
"Don't tell me you still care about him," I rolled my eyes.
"What does it matter to you?" Zim's innocence quickly disappeared. His glare was cold & hard. I loved that. But, I hated how he was on Twiggy's side.
"Whatever," I said before pushing him aside.
I walked into the house, which was thankfully unlocked, & saw the evidence. There on the coffee table sat a bible, a credit card, a few lines & a half, a rolled up dollar bill, & some whiskey. Brian sat on the couch, but his mind was off in Highville. Twiggy must've been in a worse condition... Good. Zim walked in in mere seconds.
"Hey," he said as he massaged my shoulders.
"Hey," I smiled, throwing my head back to look at him. My lips attached onto his neck, parting themselves as they sucked on his soft skin.
"Mm," Zim moaned.
Suddenly, Manson just bursted into the living room. "Guys, where the fuck is Twiggy?" He asked us clearly annoyed. Zim swallowed hard, fighting back the tears he had & the sobs he was just about to let go of. I sighed, rolling my eyes. Twiggy always intervened...
