Nakita ni Marco na dumudugo ang mga labi ni Edward at may mga pasa ang kanyang mukha, nag-aabang at nakaupo sa may parking lot. Agad niya itong inalalayan at idinala sa ospital.

Nabigyan din naman agad ng atensyon at ginamot ang kanyang mga sugat. Humiling naman siya kay Marco na magpalipas muna sila ng ilangan oras bago sila umuwi.

"Bro, what happened to you?! Who did that?!"

"Nevermind bro."

"What the heck do you mean not mind that? Whoever did almost broke your face!"

"It's my fault, this was my prize. I'm fine na. Don't worry!"

"What fine are you talking about, bro? Clearly, you're not! Who did that?"

"It's Tanner, bro. I did something against him."

"What?! Why? Be straightforward, man! I'm confused!"

"I broke the code."

"Code, what!?"

"Bro code, man. That thing sucks!"

"BRO CODE? You mean he was really serious about that?!"

"Yes. As he said again, war's on and friendship's​ over."

"That freaking bro code! The heck!?"

"Yeah. Hey, calm down."

"Ugh. Wait, so this means you like Maymay too?"

"Not just like, man. I know this may sound weird to you, but I love her already!"

"Ahh man, yeah, that's cheesy! But, Okay, okay I understand. Now it's no wonder why he's really mad at you. What did you do that triggered him anyway?"

"I kissed her and he saw it."

"Damn bruh! You kissed her right away?!?!"

"No, it's not what you think. Just on the forehead, dude. I didn't knew he was watching us all along, during our dance. I never felt like anyone was watching either."

"Did he say anything more?"

"He thought I was being a pervert or too touchy towards her. We were hugging, holding hands, and stuff, during the whole dance. Probably he was envious of  what I did, 'cause I haven't seen them both do that."

"Why were you hugging or holding hands anyway? Are you dating or something!?"

"Nope. We did went out once but I guess it just happened. Or we just want to -- I mean, if she didn't want it, she could've shown resistance or maybe . . . maybe I was just holding her tight? I don't know, man."

"Oh well, yeah, it happened."

"Just didn't had much self-control. Damn, self!"

"Okay, now I get it! That's​ why Vive was teasing Maymay a while back inside the car about a kiss! She was so shy, bro."

"Makes me feel guilty, for real. Surely, a lot more saw that."

"That was a pretty lame move of you, to be honest. Could've done it at least in private, asked her permission first since you aren't together, right?"

"Yeah, realized that too. I wasn't​ thinking straight! Really overwhelmed, I forgot anybody could be watching. Ugh."

"So when did this love thing happened?"
