Chapter 3
Becca's POV
The state is moving the kids today. We need more room I guess. Today is also the day that they tell me when I get my tracker. It's not gonna be a good day. A nice man came to my neighborhood in a big van. I figured it was for me when he stopped in front of my house. I walked outside with a box of stuff my parents gave to me. I hopped into the van and the man began driving. I realized that we were in the car for five minutes and it was completely silent.
"I'm Becca" I said quietly.
"I'm James"
"Nice to meet you"
He didn't reply. As we were driving I noticed that there were a lot more trees than where I last lived. I saw a bunch of houses. One house really stood out to me. It was a log cabin with a blue Honda outside of it. James took a turn into a driveway, my driveway. My house was so boring and normal.
"You will be getting your tracker in four days" is what James told me.
"Ok thank you"
I grabbed my box and closed the door I saw the key on a lanyard hanging off of the doorknob so I grabbed it. As I walked in I noticed that this house was fully furnished and the cabinets and refrigerator were stocked with food. I was kinda happy for once. I walked into each room and carefully examined them. I finally found a king sized bed and sprawled out onto it. I was asleep in five minutes. I was tired from riding in a car all day. Silently. I woke up to a knock on the door.
