I had always dreaded this day:(
Today was the day that myself and my mum moved away to our new house. I had just gotten comfortable with all the kids down here in Brighton, and now I will have to start the whole 'friend making process' all over again once I get to my new home in London.
I didn't know anyone or anything that was there, so the whole situation was going to be a completely new experience for me and mum. I just hope everything goes well....
Anyway.. hi I'm Brandie. I'm 17 years old and I enjoy music, English and p.e.We shut our front door for the last time and locked it with the key, after checking the house thoroughly in case we had left anything behind. Mum took her place in the drivers seat and I decided to sit in the back, as there was more room to put my legs up. Mum said the journey would be a long one so once we began moving down the road, I rested my head on my hand and fell into a deep sleep.
I awoke, 2 hours later to mum nudging me gently.
"Hi sweetie," she said as I opened my eyes and adjusted to the light.
"Hey, are we there yet?" I replied looking around at the empty fields which I saw in front.
"We're about 45 minutes away but I just wondered if you wanted to stop and stretch your legs for a bit?".
"I'll be fine thanks, only 45 minutes left." I replied. She smiled and fired up the ignition as we carried on our journey to our new home.
After a while of staring at trees and fields, we finally entered a busy area, filled with beeping cars and red buses. Clearly we were in London.
About 20 minutes later, i felt the car pull into the gravel of the driveway of our new home.
This was going to be an experience, but you know, never say never???Hiiiii:) welcome to my new story. I hope you enjoy x
