The secret of the town

The song

It was a day like any other day you woke up went to school and did all your work to you it did not matter to you it was all a cycle then one day you heard a song a little song kind of like a lullaby yet it had an eerie feeling to it you liked the tune you looked around all over he courtyard you saw the trees kids talking and finally you found out where the sound was coming from it was a girl in the corner of the courtyard in the shade she was your to your knowledge listening to music you went over to her and said hi she stared at you and said a weak hi when you got a good look at her she was gorgeous you always liked the quiet girls and she was perfect you guessed she was shy so you talked in a friendly tone what are you doing you asked she responded by saying no one has ever talked to me before let alone a glimpse you felt a little weird and uncomfortable you said well mI am talking to you now is that why you are so shy she merely nodded you said well can I hang out with you she just looked at you with a loss of words so you just sat next to her and you finally asked the question what was that song you where listening to she looked shocked and just stared at you wonderingly at the same time she finally answered your question the song I was hearing is called lavender town you put that name in your mind  can I hear the whole song she hesitated for a moment and she gave you her headphones you put them on your head and then the music started to play it was a weird tune yet you liked it then suddenly images went through you head strange images they went so fast you did not get a good look at the images all you had time to process was a purple figure a building and that was about it you could still hear the music playing though the head phones as soon as it stopped the images stopped you looked at her and she simply said you saw that too don't you you just  nodded  I hear that music hoping I could one day understand those images you just looked at her you asked if she could play the music again she said sure and you put the headphones over your head this time you listened closely to the song every verse every beat the melody and the harmony you then saw images in your mind again this time there where more images and also the images where slower and you could see them you eyes went wide you saw writing on a wall saying lavender town over and over again you saw a man in a corner sobbing you saw kids killing themselves in the most brutal of ways some were jumping off buildings others were stabbing themselves in the head kids stabbing other kids there was blood everywhere then suddenly another image appeared one of a mother crying over her child then the image faded again and then another appeared this time it was a mother hugging her child obviously loving him and then something whispered in you mr ears suddenly I wish we had this you nearly jumped and then you saw an image of the purple figure again this time you could see that it was a ghostly figure a large grin and red eyes with black pupils you where scared of the beast he just stared at you following your very move then the whisper was back only this time it came from them
figure it said you have listened to our song and we are proud you want to figure out more about us find us for the rest of the story you will only get a piece of the story if you want more come and find us and suddenly images flowed into your mind you saw a family one kid a mother and a father you looked at the scene carefully you saw that the mother looked at her child with disgust as well as the father the child looked normal yet the parents looked at the child with disgust the child was sitting alone on a couch looking really glum the mother then shouted that he do the dishes the kid looked like he was overworked and he looked like he was very tired he told his mother he was tired and that he wanted to go to sleep the kid did not look older that 8 years old and when he said that to his parent he was smacked by his father while his father shouted don't talk back your mother like that the mother just nodded her head and screamed now go do the dishes the kid on the verge of tears went to do the dishes the kid then got told to do all the chores in the house when he finished he then finally went to bed but by then it was 3:00 the kid did not even bother to do anything he just fell on his bed and the kid was sound asleep then suddenly the image faded and when you linked you where back in the courtyard of your school in the shade next to the girl she asked what did you see you looked traumatized you then noticed your watch only a minute had gone by how is that possible you asked yourself  then she snapped you back to reality what did you see she asked you you looked at her for a moment and decided to tell her then you realized you had not even asked her name you said before I tell you I did not even ask your name so let me start over what is your name she responded with Melanie my name is Melanie ok Melanie well this is what I saw and then you told her everything you saw
