Always remember that in EVERYTHING that happens to us or has happened to us is a blessing. In my life, there has been plenty of things go wrong, and sometimes I let the bad things get the best of me, but I have never forgotten what i have been blessed with.
Life is a series of unfortunate events, but within those events are good things. We just sometimes let the bad things cover up the good. When in reality, there are more good things than bad. What we do not realize is a lot of times the reason we think of the bad things instead of the good is because if we thought of everything that went right, it would take forever. In our heads, we usually think it is because we had a bad day, which is not true. Everyday we are blessed with is a day to be thankful for, and it is a good day because we get to live it.
No matter how bad your circumstance is, remember it could always be worse. I lost my daddy was I was 9. For a while I didn't see how anything was good about it, but i realized that I got to have him in my life for 9 years, and that is a blessing.
Even the bad things are things to be thankful for because they make us who we are. Without the bad things in life, we would not be able to appreciate the good.
I get so caught up in life that I sometimes forget to be thankful of the little things. Things like being able to walk, talk, see, smell, touch, laugh, love, breathe, and see the good in things. I forget to be thankful for being able to eat when I am hungry, and being able to ride my horse. I forget to be thankful of the amazing people in my life, people that go out of there way to help me. I forget to thank these people. I am thankful that Jesus saved me from my sins. I am thankful I am able to live and have an education. I am thankful I am able to believe in what I want to believe in. The list could go on, but I would never get finished. The point is to NEVER forget there is always something to be thankful for. And I owe it all to the Lord, so thank you<3
