"Moon calm down" Gladion told his friend.
"I can't! I'm so excited I could explode!" Moon chirped.
"Come on Gladion!" Hau said, "We're gonna meet Moon's dad!"
Moon and her two friends stood at the dock, waiting for the passengers of the docked ship to exit the boat.
Moon hadn't seen her dad since she moved to Alola, which was almost three years now. His visit was long overdue. And it's not like she could leave for Kanto, she was Champion.
Moon scanned the area for her dad. She stood on her tiptoes to see over all the taller people.
Finally, she saw him, "Dad!" She called, weaving through the crowd and hugging her father.
Her father laughed, "Hey honey! How are you?"
"I'm good" she said, releasing her father.
"Good" her father said.
"Oh! Come meet my friends! I kinda brought them with me" Moon said, dragging her father towards her friends.
Hau and Gladion looked at Moon's father, looked at Moon, looked at her father, back to her.
"Woah" Hau breathed.
Moon raised an eyebrow, "What?"
Hau smiled, "He looks just like you!"
Moon's father had the same dark hair, same gray eyes, and same skin tone. Her father was tall and skinny, but his shoulders were broader.
She seemed to inherit his features, but he didn't wear the same smile Moon normally did, which means she probably got it from her mother.
"It's almost as if he's my dad" Moon said sarcastically.
"It's almost as if he's my dad" Gladion mocked.
Moon sighed and face palmed, "Dad, these are my friends"
Hau beamed and put his hands behind his head, "I'm Hau!"
Gladion messed with his bangs, "Gladion"
"Hello Hau, Gladion. I'm Eclipse" Moon's father said.
"Moon? Eclipse?" Hau asked.
Moon giggled, "Yeah. My moms name is Stella, too"
"Wow" Gladion stated.
"Yeah...Hey! Let's go get malasadas!" Moon suggested cheerfully.
Hau pointed at her with finger guns, "That's my girl! Let's go!"

"Wow these are delicious!" Moon's Dad chirped, taking another bite from his malasada.
"Aren't they?" Moon replied, taking a bite from her food.
Hau stuffed half of his malasada in his face. Gladion took a small bite from his.
"I still don't get how you can eat the spicy ones, Gladion" Moon said.
Gladion shrugged and swallowed his food, "How can you eat the sour ones?"
"Fair point"
Hau stuffed the rest of the malasada in his mouth, "So Moon's Dad! Tell us about Moon!"
Moon's father took another bite of his food, "Not much to tell"
"Aw c'mon! I'm sure she's done embarrassing things! She does them all the time here!"
