Mitch and Scott walked together to pick up Scarlet, holding each others hand as they walked down the sidewalk in the sun.

"So, I was thinking we could go to the park and have a picnic for dinner?" Mitch suggested. Scott nodded with a smile, "Sure. I'll pack the food and you get Scarlet ready." He nodded as they approached the school.

"Ms. Waters, how was she?" Mitch asked kindly as Scott lifted Scarlet off the ground. "She was amazing. You must be her other father. I'm Amy Waters." The woman smiled as she extended her hand towards Scott. "Nice to meet you. I hear you've done a very good job teaching Scarlet." He said polietly. "Why thank you. I enjoy children. I actually have one on the way in a few months. My husband was very excited when he found out." She smiled. "Congradulations." Scott said with a smile. "We better get going. Have a good evening, Ms. Waters." Mitch smiled kindly. "And you, Mitch." She smiled before they walked off.

Scott held Scarlet's hand as they walked, Mitch holding her other hand. They smiled as they talked, lifting Scarlet up so she didn't trip over any of the uneven slabs in the ground.

As they all walked, Scott was stopped by a hand on his upper arm. He turned quickly and sighed when he saw Alex. "Don't do that." He sighed. "Sorry, I just- I was wondering if you wanted to catch up this weekend?" He asked kindly. "Um, I can try. I can't make any promises." Scott shrugged. "Great, I'll see you around." Alex smiled before rushing away.

That night after dinner, Scott put Scarlet to bed and walked into his shared room with Mitch to find an angry husband.

Scott sighed and walked up behind Mitch, wrapping his arms around his waist as he gently kissed his neck, "Is everything okay?" He asked softly. "He flirts with you in front of me and you just stand there." Mitch sighed angrily. "Who?" Scott asked with a furrowed brow. "Alex. He asked you out on a date." Mitch snapped.

Scott scoffed, "It's not a date." He argued. "I'm sure it's not. But when he ends up taking you to his bedroom, I hope I can trust that you'd remember us." Mitch snapped before leaving the room to enter the bathroom, slamming the door shut behind him.
