🌅Sunsets 🌅 (Kageyama Tobio: haikyuu!)

Gods I haven't updated in soooooo long...sorry hehe.... I hope you like this

You held Tobio's hand as the two of you walked down the pier. Hinata and his new girlfriend walked in front of you chatting away happily.

You and Kageyama were pretty much the opposite of the couple infornt of you, walking silently. There was of course nothing wrong between you two,it was just that both of you just weren't extremely expressive.

"Hey look at the sunset, it's so beautiful" Hinata exclaimed and stopped to stare at the sunset with his girlfriend. Kageyama and you also stopped though your reactions were quite different from the admiring exclamations the other couple were making.

"It's just a sunset" you muttered look towards the orangish and purplish hue of the sky.

"Yeah" Tobio agreed looking slightly bored as he also gazed at the sunset.

The sunset was beautiful, as were all sunsets, You've painted many enough to know, but still a sunsets a sunset not some magical occurrence that happens once in a hundred years or something. It happens every day, each one different form the day before but yet somehow the same.

"It's so romantic" you heard someone say and furrowed your brows.
Romantic how?
I can agree with beautiful but romantic?

You sighed and glanced at Kageyama, both of you had been together for about three months unlike Hinata and his girlfriend, they were kind of in like a honeymoon stage of dating.

Then again now that you think about Tobio and you never really has much of a honeymoon stage in your relationship, where you clung onto each other acting lovey dovey like a new couple would. Neither you nor him were that expressive.

You were pretty much the definition of an introvert while Kageyama was well.....Kageyama. A milk loving lovable doofus.

You once again looked at him. He wasn't some crazy amazing boyfriend who did romantic gestures and never forgot any important days, pretty sure he forgets his own birthday, but he was everything you wanted.
Not unnecessarily loud and expressive (when he was with you) though he is pretty loud at practice and when with Hinata, and pretty calm and caring, though sometimes he's.....well.....eh and very understanding...most of the time. He knows exactly how you function which makes expressions myself much more easier.

Now the rays of the setting sun were shining straight on to the pier, lighting up Kageyama's skin and making his eyes sparkle slightly.

Your lips slowly lifted into a smile as you watched him and you finally understood why couples made such a big deal about sunsets and why they were romantic.
Sunsets were still normal sunsets, beautiful and all that but they it's who you watch it with that makes it seem so magical or romantic.

You realized you'd never actually watched a sunset with Kageyama before as you watched him.

Tobio turned to you and stared back, you felt him slowly examine your face, and you noticed twitch into a faint smile.

"It is kinda beautiful though" He said glancing briefly at the almost set sun before looking back at you.

"Yeah, it is" you nodded slightly.

His smile grew into one of those rare smiles before he leaned foreword and pecked your lips gently before pulling away quickly.

It was a rare moment and you felt your heart race. Kageyama has only ever showed a PDA three times before since you both preferred privacy, especially you so it genuinely surprised you, making you cheeks heat up.

You smiled up at him before giving him a hug resting your head against his chest, "You're the best Kageyama" you mumbled into the fabric.

You knew for a fact that the way you two acted seemed stupid to many people since both of you seemed to be building the relationship so slowly and all but neither of you minded, it was the way both of you wanted.

"And you're amazing" he said hugging you back.

Sunsets were pretty romantic after all.
