I watched the clock tick by, world history was a doozy. I plugged my earbuds in as the class played off. I felt the whole world change then. "Isa, Isa Rarena!" The whole class all looked at my direction.

"Huh," I took off my earbuds as everyone stared.

"Who led the Continental Army?" I didn't know what was happening around me. I looked confused and clueless.

"Abraham Lincoln?" I gave a random guess. I crossed my fingers and hoped it was the right answer. Everyone laughed as I face palm myself. "I just asked you a 5th grade question Miss Rarena."

"George Washington led the Continental Army." I turned around as I heard someone else answer for me.

"Thank you Katelyn,"

I sighed and pretended to read the history book.

Lunch*

"Isa, come!" I looked at Malane.
"What's up?" She smiled at me brightly. "Brendan asked me for a pencil!!"

"Mal, it's just a pencil, it's not like he asked you out." I rolled my eyes at her while she fangirled. "Isa, you make everything less fun." She pouted. "Come on now, I'll buy you lunch." I said, changing the mood. That slight frown became a smile.

Malane has a weird crush with Brendan since 6th grade, now that we're juniors in high school her silly crush is more of a love obsession. It's cute when she tries hard.

I bought us both lunch and sat down. "Isa are yo-" A crowd of people came running past us. Malane paused and went to go see what's happening. I followed along, I was as curious as everyone else. A circle was formed around the area. "Is there a fight?" The person next to me asked his friend. "No, some girl asked Brendan to homecoming." I started to push people to make room. As I started walking I saw a girl with roses and a sign. The sign read "I would be the luckiest girl in the world if you would go to HOCO w/ me". I saw her there, on her knees, crying. Brendan stepped away from crowd and left the poor girl crying.

"Are you just gonna leave her there!" I stepped in and shouted at him. He turned around and looked at me. Malane came running from the other side of the circle and tugged my sleeves. "What are you doing!" She whispered in my ears. I was tired of watching all these girls getting turned down by Brendan. I didn't want the same thing happening to Malane or any other girl. He stared at me and looked a little confused. "Uh, are you new here?" I stood there, so surprised. "I've been in your class for 10 years..." I replied as he became more confused. "Hmm, never seen you." I walked up to him, ready to slap him. Luckily for him, Malane pulled me back. "Brendan, she's not worth your time." Katelyn came out from behind him. She and her friends walked Brendan out as the poor girl was still on the ground. Most of the crowd left as some stayed to give me dirty looks.

"What's happening here!?" My world history teacher came and gave the same stare as everyone else. "Come with me!" She forcefully grabbed me by the wrist and dragged me to the office. The grip got tighter and tighter as she made it in the office. I got used to it since Ms. Balina is always trying to bail me for something.

Ms. Balina holds a huge grudge against my mother. Kelly Balina (Evil Teacher) was about to marry Josh Rarena (My Father), but Josh married Belle Marie (My Mother) instead. When I was born they decided to stay in the same town in California. Once Ms. Balina found out I was daughter of Josh and Belle, she vowed to give me hell until I graduate. It's been 19 years and her grudge is pretty strong.

*Boom*

She kicked the door open.

The principle didn't look very surprise. It was like he was waiting for us. "Isa, get the tea ready for us, you know where it is." I knew exactly where everything was. I could blindfold myself without walking into something, that's how familiar I was with the principle's office. I've been in here so many times, I ran out of fingers to count. "Ms. Balina, you can't just bring Isa in here every single day." In my head, I'm begging to have one normal day without ending up in the principle's office. "I don't know why you support bullying, Mr. Stanley." I place the tea down and sat right next to Ms. Balina. "I won't tolerate bullying in my campus, but Isa isn't a bully."

"I was told she slapped a girl for asking Brendan out. Every girl is known to like this Brendan guy, so I can see why she slapped her." I scoffed and just kept sipping tea. "Let me guess, you got this information from Katelyn. I have found Isa innocent for the last 50 times, now both of you, get out!" I giggled as she just shook her head at me. I could tell why my father left her, she's evil.

By the time I went back to Malane, lunch was over. I sighed and just kept walking it off. I couldn't stand another hour in this school. I went to class and watched the clock.
