Hello lovely readers! Here's the new chapter! Have a lovely time reading it. And see... I updated quite quick time. Just some a small information about Aaru's family... in case you don't remember.

She lives in a joint family. She has a real brother Rohit who is three years older to her and a cousin sister Misha who is two years younger than her. Apart from these three, Aaru's mom, dad, uncle and aunt stay in the family.

Meaning of some words you may not know:

Chachi: Gujarati word for your dad's younger brother's wife.

Kaaki: Gujarati word for dad's elder brother's wife.

Misha is Aaru's chachi's daughter. And Aaru is Misha's Kaaki's daughter.

Confusing? But don't worry, it will get clear soon.

Happy reading

I stretched my arms lazily and parted my lips far away to let out a yawn. I was bored, I was tired and I was exhausted. My brain had stopped comprehending things and the numbers were now flying away from my head. But the good part? I had gained a new confidence in Maths. These are the after effects of playing with numbers and alphabets for four hours and fifteen minutes continuously, without using my mobile phone and without getting up from the place again and again and with a break of just fifteen minutes. Yeah!

My mother pushed open the door and let herself in in my room. Talk about knocking the door before entering someone's room. That rule clearly does not apply to Indian moms.

"Mommy", I singsang and leaped towards her.

She lovingly ran her hand from my head to the end of my face and pulled my cheeks, smiling at me.

"I am studying hard this time. I better get good marks", I said.

"Yes, you are studying. But this is not hard work. This is donkey work. You started to study just five days before your exams", she replied.

"Nope. That's not true. I am doing accounts since the beginning. Anyways, it's FYJC. Who's going to study?"

"College has changed your attitude", she shook her head disapprovingly.

"Do whatever fun you want in FYJC. But next year, it's boards. You have to be serious then", my mother said in her motherly way, "and once your units get over, surf through the internet. Search for different courses. Start thinking on what you want to choose as your career. Your generation has google and everything. There was not much help during our time", she said. I nodded my head and plopped on the bed. I was tired and this career thing... I am still on my search and exploration path of what I like and what my passion is. I don't want to settle for something which seems appropriate for now but gives no pleasure to my heart.

I let out a tired sigh and placed my head on my mother's lap. She patted me lovingly which to great extents released my tension, stress and tiredness. I love my mom.

"Mom, when will Dimple chachi come?" I asked. I really miss her. I have been raised up in the presence of these two ladies. So the house feels a little quiet and lonely when anyone of them is not present.

"She will be late today", my mum replied.

"Okay", I nodded my head and closed my eyes to enter into the dear sleep world. But ha! When can I get a nice sleep?

The door burst open and there came a voice running, "Kaaakkii." She got on the bed and swung her hands around my mom's shoulder, "give me food."

"It's just eight thirty now. Wait for half an hour more. All will be back by then", she replied and planted a wet peck on her cheek. Misha grunted. I chuckled and curled in the bed.
