Today I  Pay tribute and celebrate the life of my friend by writing her a heartfelt eulogy.
She was a vibrant soul, one who literally lit up the room whenever she entered. She was full of Enthusiasm, she was crazy, she was amazing, she was SHONA.
Now Shona was an amazing person that, I encountered with. Even though I don't know her much...... I could tell.
The first time that I saw and met Shona was at my cousin Vanessa's place at Goa. It was Good Friday day. The day Jesus Christ died on the cross. Vanessa introduced me to her. Vanessa told Shona that everyone at home call me "D" and then Shona was like... Even I'm gonna call you "D" she said that with a smile on her face. We got along with each other pretty well. I felt like I know Shona since ages. I felt like she was like one of my cousin's.
She told me she would never ever attended any of her family functions but she would definitely attend our family functions. She was like Family. Now for a family function of mine... A lady asked her who she was...And the answer that she gave was " I'm Shona...The elder adopted daughter of this family" And since then everyone knew her as the adopted daughter of our family. She never felt like an outsider to me or any of my family members.
Yesterday the 18th of May 2017 was a heartbreaking day for all of us when we got a call at about 9:30 am saying that Shona's met with an accident. She just lost control of the bike and  fell on the road. The phone call said that, a water tanker, a loaded water tanker... went over her head and that her brains fell out...I could imagine how heavy it might have been. Shona..... she left us there and there. Nothing happened to her body at all but her head fully damaged. She died on the spot said the phone call. Damn that Tanker. I could not believe the phone call a bit. My aunt tried calling Vanessa to get some news but her phone was busy. After about 15 mins we get a call from Vanessa saying that She's gone forever.
Tears rolled down my face and never stopped. How could God take such a jolly person away from us?
But as they say God has his own plans. Maybe he needed some good people up there and his eyes went up on Shona as she was an amazing person and so he took her up.
Shona's not dead but instead she's beginning a new life up there with God Almighty.
One of Shona’s best traits was that she always lived her life to the fullest and loved to laugh and smile. Maybe we should bid her farewell the same way as she is on top with GOD (happily)..As it  is an amazing place to be in right?
I just wanna say my final words today as I stand her in front of Her...
" As memories of my past revive in mind
     I find a perception of a sign
That holds all the friendship of life
In words only my mind can contrive
This little poem I hope not offends
For it's a written tribute to my friend"

I'm gonna miss you bud. Rest in peace. ♥
I love you and I always will
