Chapter 38

The next couple of weeks passed slowly, I spent most of my time working, barely having anytime to talk to anyone. As soon as I got home from college every day I had to go to the photography agency and work for 5 hours before getting home at about 9pm and falling asleep instantly. As a result of this I didn’t have the time to eat dinner each night but I lost weight which is exactly what my boss wanted from me. Slowly but surely I was getting down to the weight he wanted me to be before I could start modelling for his company.

This weekend the McFly boys were coming to California to do some recording and they had arranged to stay in a hotel near our apartment. I hope I get to actually see them while they’re here but my schedule is busier than ever with work as I’ve been quite behind with the editing I’ve been doing recently. We’d had some models in and I watched the way they worked to get some tips, basically they just did whatever the camera man told them without even questioning it. It was a great place to work; everyone was exceptionally friendly which made the whole experience a lot less scary.

Each day started off exactly the same, I would wake up and get ready as quickly as possible and head off to college with Charlea. I rarely saw her anymore, the short walk to college and the hour lunch break we had was all I ever saw her. The 10 minute conversation I would have with Elyar everyday was the only interaction I had with him before I left for school and when I got back from work. It was ridiculous but I needed the money so I could save up for University.

I hadn’t spoken to anyone but Connor and my dad since the day I got the job since The Vamps had released their second single and were doing shows all over the world. It was massive for them and obviously they were so excited but it meant that their free time was when I was at work and when I was free they were busy. The less we spoke to each other the easier the separation seemed to be but that doesn’t mean I don’t miss them like crazy. I love life in America but I had also loved life back in England when I was with the boys.

The long distance was putting strain on mine and Brads relationship, it wasn’t that we weren’t with each other it’s just that we didn’t have time for each other anymore. Usually I would wake up with texts and missed calls from everyone else back home but not Brad. He seemed to have given up on me without even realising he was doing it. A few messages were passed through from him by the phone calls I had with Connor but it was always something simple and meaningless. I was beginning to think that maybe this wouldn’t work.

A/N This is really fucking short:( I'M SORRY!!
