Danger in the air!!

Karthik had planned Naira's birthday in detail. He took utmost care that nothing would ruin her day. However fate had other plans. Little did he know that this birthday of her love could bring unknown dangers.

Naira was in for a pleasant surprise in the morning when she saw her entire family walking in. There was each and every one of them- her parents, grandparents, brother, cousins. She was elated to be in the middle of them.

"BFF... "screamed Mishti and ran towards him to receive a tight hug from Karthik "Nowadays you don't talk with me. You forgot me huh?" she complained

"Mishti! He is your jeeju. Give him that respect" Karishma scolded her

"Chachi, please don't scold her. Jeeju was after Naira and I got married. Before that she has always been my BFF and will always be my BFF" Karthik told, giving her chocolates to pamper her

Naira had another round of cake cutting with her family. She once again could not believe how fortunate she was to be blessed with a family full of loved relations like this.

"Acha listen kids, we all elders are going to Pushkar today to visit the Brahma temple and we would be coming back only tomorrow, which means you cousins have all the time to make Naira's birthday even more special without us disturbing you" Akshara announced,

"But be careful about one thing, No dancing; Please do not stress Naira" Akshara advised before leaving.

Karthik followed Akshara to the door " Ma?" He called out. Akshara turned around and smiled at him

"I am sorry Ma, for losing my temper in front of you. I did not mean to hurt you. I was just angry at my fate" He apologised

"Beta, I know you. You don't need to apologise. But just think about it whenever you feel like. I will not pressurise you" Akshara said and left.

Karthik, Naira, Keerthi, Naksh, Mishti, Kuhu, Gayu, Vivaan, Ananya, Ranveer, Yash Rose and Nannu gathered excitedly to discuss the plan for the evening

"OK guys, we'll all go for work now. Evening, its my treat" Karthik announced. I shall plan a proper place and let you guys know." Everyone was in agreement for the plan

Karthik reluctantly left to office worried about leaving Naira alone "Shall I stay here today" he asked? " I don't want to leave you alone. I am feeling scared and restless for an unknown reason. Even Keerthi could not take leave today" he said to Naira

"Karthik, nothing will happen, I am perfectly fine now, You please don't worry. I am perfectly OK" Naira cajoled him

"Ok honey, please stay safe" he said as he patted her on her head, before leaving to office.

Karthik was driving to office. He was stopped by something happening on the opposite side. Two people were fighting with a man in his early fifties. Karthik's inner senses told him to stop and watch as the scene came in full view in front of his eyes

A car had hit the backlight of a bike and the owners of the bike were fighting with the fifty year old man. He saw the man being worried and scared. The man folded his hands and apologised to the owners of the bike who after giving him some cold stares left the place. The crowd thinned and Karthik got to see the man fully and was shocked to see who it was

"Papa?" He whispered, the word coming out of his mouth referring to him after years together

.Manish Goenka who still looked shaken after the incident, getting into the driver's seat and drive the car away

"How does this concern you Karthik? You don't have any relationship with that Man" he told to himself and dove away
