Chapter 5:

'I know that dress is karma, perfume regret
You got me thinking 'bout when you were mine'
- Charlie Puth

IMPORTANT NOTE: okay so I wanna give a special shoutout to Eminavi for helping me describe Mason in this chapter, I was having trouble doing it. You will see ( --- ), that indicates where her part starts and ( ~~~ ), indicates when it finishes. I'm giving full credit to her for helping me with that part. Thank you so much! ♡

Alexandra's POV:

"See you in a few hours ." Ivory said while giving me a quick side hug. We decided to go to the party together.

"Bye!" I cheerily said.

It was nice of her to drop me back to my dorm after we finished classes. It's safe to say I have almost all my classes with her. I have some with Jake and Sam too but not as much as I do with her.

Sam, for reasons I don't know, is ignoring me. He constantly glares at me and is always rude whenever I try to speak to him. I've done nothing wrong?

That boy has some serious issues.

I started searching in my bag for my keys. I always have a tendency to lose things easily. Especially something as small as a key.

Don't ever trust me with your valuables.

I rummaged through my bag and froze when I felt as if someone was watching me. You know when all the hairs on your neck stand up and you can feel someone starring at you so intensely that it gets to the the point of making you really uncomfortable?

Yeah, that's me right now.

I quickly started looking again through my bag for my blasted keys. Why did I get a bag with too many pockets?

Why does this always happen to me?

I looked back and saw this weird guy watching me with a smirk on his face.

Creep.

I ended up flipping my bag upside down and everything fell down on the floor. I noticed something shiny and I picked it up.

My keys!

I unlocked the door and quickly kicked everything inside and shut the door in a span of thirty seconds, not forgetting to lock it. I must've looked crazy but that guy had this weird glint in his eyes. Not the cute kind. The 'I'm-going-to-kidnap-you' kind of look. I know I'm exaggerating but I'm not taking any chances.

I sighed, relieved at the comfort of being back in my dorm room safe. I started putting everything back inside my bag when I heard a bang on my door that nearly startled me to death.

"What the hell?!" I shouted.

I looked through the peep hole.

No one was outside.

Okay this is next level creepy. I made sure to put the chain for extra security. Better to be safe than sorry. I shake my head, trying to get rid of the awful feeling I'm getting.

Relax Alexandra. It's probably just a prank.

I sighed as I made my way to the bathroom, deciding on taking a quick shower before I start getting ready.
