Chapter One

The Show

It's in December, macklemores doing his last performance in New York before he goes to Seattle. For me, I knew it was probably the best time of my life.

It's time for the show to begin. I'm sweating out of my skin I'm so happy. I can't help but be over ready for a day like this.

Then, just when I calmed down, the curtain moves... First Ryan Lewis came out... Then Ben haggerty. My heart was pounding. I was front row. I could see him I could reach him if he came closer. The one thing I wanted to do was go behind stage which was later to come.

The songs feel like the forever I always dreamed about but I knew it would only get better. Hour after hour I'm here waiting. I may be young but I fell in love. I love Ben Haggerty. I spent the whole night with no words. Not even to my best friend who came.

Time to go backstage. I was out of words.

Then there he was... There Ben was.

"Hey, do you think he'll like me..?" I said to Jenny, my best friend.

"Yeah, Bethany, he will love you!"

"Alright.."

All I could feel is anxiousness and worry. I was scared. He came up to me, asked my name. I guess he didn't know I was a fan..

"Hi uhm. Uh I'm uh Bethany."

"Hi there, I'm Ben. Why haven't I ever seen you around Bethany?"

OH MY GOD HE SAID MY NAME. And I'm guessing I put my sweater over my tag. I was lost with words.

"Bethany??" He says.

"Oh, uhm, I don't know.. I guess I never really was around.. I mean, this is my first show.."

"Oh are you a new worker or?"

"Well, uhm. No.."

"Oh then who are you?"

"I'm just a fan. Uh"

I was waiting for a bad reaction. I don't know what was going to happen.

"Well have I to say, you are quite the fan Bethany. And oh, can I get your number?" He said.

Wow.. My number.. HE WANTS MY NUMBER. I have to stay calm.

"Well can I put it in your phone so you never lose it?" I say

"Sure, here!"

"Okay.."

I start putting my number. I need to put my name! I didn't know so I put myself as 'Bethany Haisley'

"I'm the one who says Bethany Haisley!" I say.

I must sound like a creep but I saw him smile.

"Alright Bethany Haisley, I will text you later, alright?" he says.

"Alright Ben haggerty.. I will be waiting."

"Well I have to go, you're beautiful, bye."

He goes in for a hug, I panic. Of course I hug him back I could tell he was happy. I knew this would be good.

I leave him with his words. I say nothing after that but stand in shock. I am so happy.

I go to find Jenny to tell her the news. Tell her what had happened. But by the time I found her we had to leave. I have no time to say a word so I figure I would tell her later.

**Jenny and Bethany are made up characters this is not based of a true story although I wish it was. Also Trisha wasn't a part at all. Trisha doesn't exist at the moment... Opps cx
