What is it
I couldn't wrap my head around what had just happend. I knew them. I knew both of them, the old woman and ....and Nikolai? How do I know his name? Where did I meet him? Why ca--
"Do you have any idea who the hell they were?" Naya said interupting my thoughts. "Nikolai? Is that the mans name? How do you know it? And what in all that is holly did that wretched woman mean? Did you know her Kiami? "
"I-I-I-"
"Thats got to be about the craziest sh** thats ever happened to me! " Naya went on without letting me really start my sentence. "For crying out loud Kiami, you have to know what the hell she was talking about! She was talking to you."
That was the only thing said on the ride back home. Guajará Bay was long gone from our minds, especially mine. I keept going over the womans last words, her death and then the man, Nikolai. Hes' eyes were a chocolate brown, nice full eyebrows, and hair that reached to his shoulders with a complementary olive toned skin. Yes, that was Nikolai like I rememberd but from where?

I felt changed in a strange way when I finished showering. I felt stronger, more inpowerd, more toned. As if I had finally released the real me. I ran back into the bathroom to look at my self, maybe I just imagened it. the towel landed on the floor and I was shocked to see a pair of wings tattooed on my back. My body had changed! I looked as strong as I felt and my hair was no longer crayola red like I had dyed it or even wavey. It was jet black and straighter than I could have ever made it on my best day. "What's going on?" I whisperd to myself.
"Hey Kiami, umm I think you should come and have a look at this. Like now!" Naya yelled from downstairs.
Naya couldn't see me like this, not right away anyways, so I wrapped a towel over my hair and put on some jeans and the neerest top I could find and headed down.
"What is it?" I asked reaching the last step. "Nay? What are you doing?"
She was trying, or so I thought, to close the front door yet the basket she carried seemd to not let her.
"Let me help you Nay." I said as I held out my hand for the basket. "Whats in it?"
"NO! It cant stay, I dont care what they said or what I thought when I saw it at first." Naya replyed.
"What are you talking about? Let me see it."
"NO!"
"Nay? Come on, give it here."
"I said no! She was right to--
"waaaaa waaaa waaaaAAAAHHH"
Naya dropped the basket and backed a good 2 meters away. I froze where I stood befor it hit me. There was a child in the basket. A baby, what was going on?
"You didn't want me to see a baby Naya? Where the hell did it come from? Who gave it to you?" I demanded
"It was in the auto! We left the stuff in the auto so I went to get them while you took a shawer." She looked scared as she spoke, "When I opend the back I saw it. I didn't know what it was so I brought it in to look at it and there it was, a little baby girl. She was staring at me like I was food! FOOD for gods sake, thats when I called you! Thats when it got even weirder. The little sh** spoke! It scared the sh** out of me."
"Oho for crying out loud Naya! Its a baby for f**k sakes, babies dont know how to talk!" I said as I walked to the basket.
"Don't Kiami!!" Naya wrestled me to the ground before I could take another step closer. "You wanna know what she said? Do you? She said it was about f**kn time I called you and that maybe you would shut me up and feed me to her!! Your right, babies dont know how to talk but you want to know what I think? I dont think she's even a real baby!! She's posessed or something!! Thats why I was trying to get rid of it but it wouldn't let me open the f**kn door. We need to get rid of it now!" By the time she was done talking I had her pinned to the gound and the towel had long left my hair. I let go and looked at her alarmed eyes, she had tears in them.
"I'm sorry." I said as I got off of her and extended my arm to help her up. "I'm really sorry Nay." She laid there staring at this new me not knowing if to trust me and take my hand. " I cant explaine my hair or anything alse, I dont know what happened iether. I just came out of the shawer looking like this."
She took my hand and whisperd to me, "She stopped crying."
