I stood before my mirror staring down my back to school look. A white off the shoulder big shirt with a flower on it, and some white shorts with my white toms on. My hair was straitened and my bangs were perfectly swooped across my forehead. Mascara applied on my top and bottom eyelashes dark enough it looks like I have on eyeliner too. For a pop on my baby blue eyes I lined my top eyelashes with a white -silver eyeshadow.
"Paisley! Come on! Were late!" My best friend Leanna called. I rushed down the stairs to find her and my best guy friend Shelby waiting by the door. I smiled and ran to him giving him a huge hug. "Shelby! I haven't seen you all summer!" he smiled wrapping his arms around me.
We all walked out the door getting in my car and I drove us all to school. As we walked in we went strait to the office getting our schedule. Leanna had team A unfortunately. But on the bright side me and Shelby had the same classes all day. Even our connections were the same! Leanna went her way and me and Shelby went to our classes. Sitting down by each other we passed notes waiting for the teacher.
Their walked in the most beautiful guy my eyes have ever seen. Was he in my class? Who was this guy? He's talking but I can't quite hear him. I'm lost in his gorgeous sea green eyes and long flippy dark brown hair. He looked at me and smirked. Finally someone tapped me and I was back to reality. "What did you say?" The guy chuckled and repeated, "Im Mr.Kaufman. And you are?" He asked smoothly. I felt my cheeks turning red. "I'm Paisley" I replied.
Mr.kaufman clapped his hands and yelled alright now, trying to get everyone's attention as if he didn't already have it. I passed my note back to Shelby and Mr.Kaufman saw. Clearing his throat and came and took up our note. He read over it and tore it in half. "no notes in my class. Unless you want me to give you detention this Saturday." I raised my eyebrows, "we were just making plans this weekend. Not like we were talking about anyone." Mr.Kaufman smirked, "Smart talk me? Both of you have detention this saturday. No movies for you."
I really wasn't starting to like this teacher. We were getting off to a bad start. I delt with him for the rest of the period. For the rest of the day I wasnt in a good mood. After school I went strait home. I went in my house yet to be bothered AGAIN by my annoying big brother Chad. He told me I should have tried to dress better for my first day back to school. I thought I had looked pretty good. He was always mean like that to me. Ever since I can remember. My earliest memory was us unwrapping presents at Christmas time and him stealing all my toys. It's okay though because he got in trouble.
The doorbell rang and I ran getting the door, it was Shelby. "Shelbyyy!" I yelled excited, "what are you doing here?" He smiled, "I thought since we can't have out plans on Saturday we can watch a movie now." I clapped my hands excited and grabbed his hand pulling him in. "What do you want to watch?" He shrugged and bent down looking at our choices. "The vow? You've been saying you wanted to watch it with me." I took the movie and put it in playing it.
Me and Shelby laid down on the couch together. Me in front him in the back behind me. He wrapped his arms around me and I was holding his hands. He seriously was the best friend any girl could have. I have had the biggest crush on him since we met in sixth grade. But I can't ever tell him, it would ruin our friendship. What if he didn't have the same feelings for me? Or maybe he did but just didn't want to tell me thinking I wouldn't be his friend anymore.
Soon the movie ended and Shelby had to go home. I hugged him tightly and asked him pick me up for school tomorrow. He nodded and kissed me on the forehead. We said our goodbyes and he left.
