I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock then Mom called me from downstairs

"Sweetie! Breakfast is ready!"

I walked downstairs to give my Mom and Dad hugs and kisses

"Good morning sweetie! I made your favorite, pancakes with extra syrup!" Mom Greeted me with a smile

"Gee... Thanks Mom!"

"Sit down now, I'll get some coffee"

"Kay mom"

Then mom and dad sat down with me at the table...

"So honey... How was school this week?" Dad asked me

"It was great Dad! My teachers are great. Although 5 is such a jerk to us..."

"5? He's still your schoolmate?"

"Yeah! But don't worry, Phil is always looking out for me..."

When I mentioned Phil, I suddenly lost my smile and I think my parents noticed

"Oooh... Phil? Your crush since elementary?"

"Daad!"

"Aw come on, I was just joking... But Phil is a good guy, If he ever asked us to be your boyfriend, I wouldn't have second thoughts about saying yes" Dad said teasingly

"I agree" Mom said

"Even you guys?! Our friends and now, you two?"

"Yeah, but why do you seem down when you mentioned him?"

"It's just... He's in the hospital right now..."

"What?! What happened?!" Dad asked surprised

"Someone beat him up in the alleyway"

"Oh that's terrible!!"

"Have you found out who did that to him?"

"No... Not yet..."

"Don't worry, I'm sure he's about to get better" Mom tries to cheer me up

"Thanks Mom, Thanks Dad" I smiled at them

Meanwhile, in the Riddle Hospital

Phred's POV
"Ugggghhhh.... C'mon Zack. Can't you at least cover me?"

"No way man. You promised to watch out Phil for Smiley, remember?" Zack said

"But I miss my bed..."

Zack sighed and said "...you've been here for 15 minutes and you miss your bed?"

"Yeah, but we've been here for Friday, Saturday and today

"Tell me... about... it..."

"HE'S AWAKE!!!" I shouted to Zack

"OHMYGAWD! WAIT, I'M MESSAGING SMILEY!!"

Phil reacted quickly and struggled to say "...D-DON'T!!.. *cough*"

Zack stopped typing and asked him "What? Don't you want to see her?"

"...Her birthday is... on Saturday... I want to surprise... her"

"Aww... How sweet..."

"Well... Since she doesn't like materialized gifts... I'm writing her a song. Although, I still can't write... Will you guys help me?"
