Natalie's POV

It's 7.45 pm. Finn didn't show up. Okay, what's wrong with me? Longing for a stranger to come over? Even it was the first day we met? I felt like I'm kind of cheap. I mean he didn't save my life, he just... well he did. Maybe not my life but he and his friend just helped me. Okay okay, it was just a type of appreciation. Yeah, it was. I kept telling myself.

It was crowded here. My grandparents made the preparation earlier and invited them maybe? A lot of old people too, where they spent their time chatting together, seemed so sweet.

"Natalie, your new friend huh?" My grandma yelled at me from the beach. I can hear her even I was standing in her house. Wow.

"Okay, I'm coming." I brushed my hair so that it fell perfectly. I have a great hair, my mom used to say that, she said my hair was the most prettiest hair she had seen in the world, voluminous, slightly curl, and brunette. I liked it when she said that even if she lied to me. I caught a last glance over the mirror, my normal hair(which mean, messy but sexy, at least to my mom), and a white dress. Okay. I was excited. Sort of. Will Finn think I'm pretty with these? Put on a smile, I walked out.

"Oh hey, Natalie!" I turned when I heard him calling me.

"Hi ! Fi... Steve...hey." It wasn't Finn.

"Looking good."

"Yeah, thanks." I smiled.

"I like your hair."

"Oh yeah? Pretty huh?"

"It's gorgeous, you know, that kind of sexy bed head, which girls spend a lot of time setting it up, don't tell me you too?"

"Nah, it's natural."

"Cool." He glanced around. "By the way, where is Finn?"

"He doesn't show up. So I guess that he can't make it tonight."

"He told me he'll be here. "

"This morning?"

"Uh-uh, just now."

"Probably somewhere hooking on with some girls."

"Yeah, I think he'll need some condom. I have prepared a plenty of them so..."

I widened my eyes. Oh, no way. The people I thought were Prince Charmings were just simply slut, considering the one in front of me NOW too.

"Oh, come on. I'm kidding. Don't be too upset." He laughed so hard.

"I'm not upset." Yeah, I'm not. I didn't really know him too.

"I'll call him. Hold on."

"It's okay. Enjoy yourself. I should probably lend my grandparents a helping hand, see you around."

"Okay."

I was few steps away when I heard Steve started talking on his phone.

"Where're you bro? In the bedroom or the kitchen?" He laughed after saying that, probably to his own jokes.

I rolled my eyes. People who laughed at his own jokes, well Steve, well done. I wasn't stalking him or what, my grandparents were just steps away where we stood, barbecuing some marshmallow. And I was there to help them to barbecue stuff so yeah, I can hear Steve.

"Back to the topic. Where're you? I thought you were here? Anything's wrong? Come on tell me." His voice faded away.

As much as I wanted to turn around and asked what had happened, I didn't. Stay classy, you little peanut.
