"Yes," Dan said wincing a little.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you," Phil replied blushing, "I..."

"I was thinking about myself, sometimes I crave more than romantic glances."

Phil looked down and tried to arrange words in his head to form a sentence.
"I thought we were at the point we could consider ourselves a couple, I'm sorry, I didn't think about your thoughts and feelings. It seems you didn't think too hard about mine though...,"
"But Phil," Dan said, cutting off not only his own sentence, but Phil's.
"It's fine," Phil said picking up the Twister mat with a new rip down the center.
