Chapter 1

"ANDREW GET DOWN HERE!!" yelled my mom.

Honestly, today is going to be the worse day of my life! I'm supposed to see my dad today, and its not like im just only gonna see him for today; nooo im spending my entire senior year with him. Yay.You see my dad left my mom when he found out she was pregnant. He came back after a couple of years and stayed with us, little did we know that he had started a family. When it was my 5th birthday he left my mom and I, again, never to come back this time.

Well, now I'm 16 turning 17 in a couple of weeks and it will be the first time I'm going to see my dad in 11 years. HORRAH! Honestly I don't even know why I agreed to this, I've never met this man and didn't plan to. Anyway, I'm here talking about my problems and I haven't even introduced myself yet.

I'm Andrew, Andrew Cornwell. Hahaha ahhhh always wanted to do that. Anyhow, I'm a junior in high school and A-M-A-Z-I-N-G at sports (mostly football). I get straight A's in school. Plus im single *wink, wink*.

When I'm done packing I rush into the bathroom for a quick shower.Well it seems like my shower wasn't as quick as I thought because a couple minutes later I hear my mom yell " DAMN IT ANDREW, YOUR JUST TAKING A SHOWER." Couple minutes after she says that I hear footsteps coming up the steps. Shit shit shit better get out. I run out the bathroom and straight into my room just in time to see her reach the top step. When she turns around I here her mumble" heh its not gonna be I prob when u miss your flight."

Well I hurry up and get ready in some skinny jeans and a Aeropostale t-shirt. I pick up a few jays and vans put them in a bag and head for the door. When I'm heading down the stairs I almost fall face first on the floor, because of whose there. Never in my life did I think I would ever see him again. He was a horrible and amazing past I try my hardest to forget. As I walk past him I ask my mom " What the hell is he doing here??"

"He's here to talk things out Andrew, so sit, talk and watch your language ." She says with a stern voice still full of concern.

" What the hell is there to talk about, it's simple I loved you. You supposedly love me back, and I believed you. After us dating for a while, he got scared that he was actually in love with a guy , he cheated " I said showing no signs of remorse, regret, sadness or hope.

"Andrew please hear me out." He begs

I am angry now. HEAR HIM OUT!! HEAR HIM OUT!! That what he says. " FUCK NO DERRICK, ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!!! I gave u 2 goddamn years to tell me the truth, u explain your self and u didn't tell me!!!" I yell at him.

"Andrew please, I couldn't grow the enough balls to face you after what I did. Believe hooking up with my ex girlfriend didn't do anything. And yes, yes I was scared; I was scared that I was actually in love wit-"

"Please Derrick I had enough of you bull when I was with you, I not gonna take that shit now especially when we aren't together. Goodbye derrick I have a plane to catch please leave now." I said as calmly as possible.

When he finally left I got in the car with mom, as we were driving there was this kind of awkwardness in the air. "Come out with it mom." I said. In all honesty I am not really in the mood for her motherly talk about guys right now,but I might at well let her speak her mind if I allowed Derrick to.

For a while she didn't speak and I was happy, but then she exploded.

"Please tell me why in the hell not are you not dating this guy?!?! I know I normally don't advise this but I do advise chasing you first love. Especially if he's the one that took your v-card. Now you know I'm not good at the whole give advise to chase guys but I do believe this is the one. Please don't let another boy or girl take him away from you."

I was feeling two feelings at once and both were directed to my mother and Derrick. First of they are both trying to convince me to date Derrick again which pisses me the fuck off. The son of a fuck cheated on me with a girl, and not just any girl his ex. The one he was engaged to!!!!!! Omfg! Now when I told my mom about this she was ready to pull out a shotgun and kill the bastard. I'm happy because I'm glad Derrick realized what he did was wrong and finally told me even if it was too late. I deserve to know the tru-

"Yes, you do honey" mom says.

" OMG was i saying that all out loud??" I ask all embarrassed.

"Yes you did hon, anyways we are here." She says as we pull up at the airport.

"Awwww mom don't cry I'll be back faster than you know it, it'll be like I never left." I say feeling a bit of sadness come to the surface.

She pulls me into a tight bear hug then kisses my cheek goodbye.
