Over the next few days, one person had been found dead. It was supposedly just an animal, but we knew better. It was more vampires, here in Forks.

There shouldn't be other vampires here. It's our territory. The next few days were sunny so none of us would be going to school. That left us time to do some research. We needed to know who these vampires might be, although they probably wouldn't be a threat to us, at all. They would probably just move on after a while.

Edward decided to go to Port Angeles one night. Why? Because Bella was going. He was concerned about her safety. Turns out he was right. A gang was surrounding her as he arrived and he just rescued her. He almost lost his head with them, almost attacked them.

He took her out for dinner, even though he didn't eat anything. He even told her that he could read minds, which made Rosalie go ballistic. Even Carlisle was a bit concerned now.

'Why did you tell her that?' demanded Rosalie.

'It slipped out... And I had to give her some answers! I didn't tell her anything else, though!' he said. 'Anyway, there are other things to worry about! Waylon was killed tonight!'

'Yes, we can deal with that too! We just need to confront them... No violence! Just tell them this is our territory, if we can find them,' said Carlisle.

'Talking things out doesn't always work, Carlisle! We may need to resort to violence!' said Esme, although she didn't like the idea.

Carlisle sighed.

'Also, this could make Bella even more suspicious...' I said quietly but Carlisle silenced me with a look. Still no one would listen to me.

'Just because I was frozen at fourteen doesn't mean I'm wrong! I'm older than most of you and yet you don't think I'm right, just because I look younger!' I said and stormed off. I was over three hundred, for gods sake.

I didn't go upstairs, I ran into the forest. I didn't go to school the next day, I just stayed in the forest. I made some rocks fly across the air with my mind, the ability of a vampire I had met in Peru. I was annoyed at everyone for not trusting me. I knew Bella was getting closer to the truth, too close perhaps, but they weren't listening to me. They didn't think I was right, they thought I was over exaggerating.

'I told you so! Didn't I! I said that to you, but you wouldn't listen!' I said to Carlisle, rather triumphantly.

Edward and Bella were now going out. Rosalie was fuming, of course, and Alice, Jasper and Emmett weren't too happy when they first saw them at school but they didn't mind anymore. But what I was actually talking about was Bella had been too curious and eventually found out about our secret. The upside was she wasn't going to tell anyone, that much was certain.

'Yes, I suppose you're right... I'm sorry I didn't believe you,' Carlisle sighed.

'And she's coming round today! Well, I'm happy I was right but you lot should trust me more in the future!' I said, and then sat down on the sofa.

I could tell Emmett was making faces behind my back so I threw a pillow behind me, which hit him square in the face at full pelt. He growled lowly but I just laughed.

'We should probably make something for her to eat!' said Esme and everyone ran to the normally unused kitchen.

'Errrr...' I started but everyone was already making food. I had just used Alice's visions and it seemed Bella was full. Oh well, they seemed to enjoy the fact they would be cooking. Or most of them were.
