The next day, Jensen and I headed to school together.

I managed to avoid my siblings most of the day, up until lunch.

The only table that had seats left at it was the one right next to them.

Jensen, Melanie, and I sat down and I was facing my family.

I knew they were staring daggers at me but I tried to focus on taking to Jensen and Melanie.

Melanie was fascinated by the whole story about vampires and werewolves, and the whole imprinting thing. She had gotten over the fact that she had almost been killed by the vampire cops, instead finding it cool that her two best friends were supernatural beings and dating one another.

I completely zoned out of their conversation and instead focused on what my siblings were saying to one another.

'This is stupid. She's right, y'know. Why did we let you date a human and then throw a hissy fit when she decides to date a werewolf?' asked Alice.

'It's different. We are sworn enemies of them,' Edward grumbled.

'Yeah, but technically dating a human, even though we don't drink human blood, is like a vegetarian human dating a cow or a pig,' Alice told him.

'Did you just compare Bella to a cow?' Edward was narrowing his eyes.

'You know what I meant. You're dating what's meant to be our primary source of food,' Alice glanced over to me, 'We can't abandon her because of something she has no control over. She's family.'

'Y'know, she's got a point,' Emmett said and Jasper nodded reluctantly.

This left Edward and Rosalie staring at one another in shock.

'Although I do hate to admit it, they're right. She's family. We didn't abandon you when you decided to date Bella, so why should we abandon her?' Rosalie asked Edward.

'But... That's irrelevant... We can't... This is...' he groaned in frustration, sensing defeat.

Alice caught my eye and beckoned me over.

'I'll be right back... Hopefully!' I grinned.

I didn't sit down, I just stood by their table as they looked at me.

'Molly, we've been talking,' Alice began, glancing at Edward.

'I heard,' I told her.

'Listen, we were stupid. It's your choice on what you do and we can't banish you because of it. If you want, and we'll understand if you don't as we were shitty siblings, you can come back,' Emmett told me, giving me a weak grin.

'Of course I'll come back. We're family, although you're right, you can be shitty. Just... Just promise to be nice,' I told them, but mainly directing it at Edward.

'Of course we'll be nice!' Emmett stood up, grinning fully now, 'Just not to you!'

And like that, he had me in a head lock.

'Geddoff!' I growled.

He let me go, laughing loudly.

'So, I'm not banished anymore?' they shook their heads.

'Are you going to properly introduce us to Jensen?' Alice asked.

'Guess so. After school, though,' I told them.

~*~

Jensen followed me to the house after school and the others were outside waiting.

'Guys, this is Jensen. Jensen, this is my family,' I smiled and whispered, 'They promised to be nice.'
