"Is there a match going on tonight as well?" I asked Krystal as we walked towards the mansion, eyeing the large stream of people walking in front of us.
Krystal let out a unflattering snort as she followed my gaze. "Nope. Those are all going to the party at the mansion." She spoke dryly, making me widen my eyes.
"What!? All those people? How will that ever fit?" I wondered, shaking my head in confusion.
Krystal giggled softly at my expression before speaking up. "You have no idea how big this mansion actually is. It's ridiculous. It's like Namjoon's dad just wanted to take the piss and show off his wealth in the shape of bricks and an unnecessary amount of marble. You'll understand once you see it." She hummed.
I nodded, continuing to walk carefully in the delicate stiletto heels Krystal had given me. She had said that if we were going to do it, we were going to do it properly.
As promised, she had asked her dads to send over some prototypes of their designs. They didn't bother to just send a modest amount, but went all out by sending me an entire closet. My eyes had almost bulged out of its sockets as Krystal proudly presented the stylish dresses, skirts, jeans, shirts, sweaters, jackets, shoes and accessoires that had arrived while I was in the library studying.
For tonight, she had picked out a tight fitted golden sequin dress for me. Even though the sleeves were long and it had a turtle neck, it didn't leave much to the imagination as it clung onto my body like a second skin. Despite this I didn't feel uncomfortable though, the fabric was very thin and felt nicely against me skin.
Her dads surely were talented designers.
Krystal had clapped her hands together excitedly as she pointed out how the golden sparkle complimented my naturally tanned skin. She had then set apart a pair of matching, golden, strapped heels.
After picking out the outfit this afternoon, the real work began. First, she ordered me to take a long shower and shave my legs. I had been confused of how to work the little pink razor, so she had sighed impatiently and shaved my legs for me.
After washing my hair with her expensive shampoo and conditioner, she had wrapped my wet curls in a towel. She then took out all her make-up, brushes and creams to spend almost an hour working magic on my face. After finishing, she unwrapped the towel, my hair dry by then. She softly combed through it, using argan oil and a spray to make my curls more bouncy. She had then carefully let me step in the dress, zipping it up at the back before ordering me to put on the heels. After I did so, I twirled in front of her, making her gasp in delight.
"You look the absolute dream, Gabe! Like a golden angel." She had winked before getting ready herself, which took another hour that I spent looking at myself in the mirror.
I had never put on make-up before, and had no idea what the powders, liquids and gels Krystal smeared on my face were. However whatever it was, it had transformed me into a total different person. I mean, it was still me, but my eyes were bigger and greener. My eyebrows were now identical and much sharper. My lips were more plump and now had a deep red colour. My skin had the same tan, but the small blemishes were now invisible and a healthy blush painted my cheeks. My cheekbones were more prominent and my nose seemed narrower.
I was basically a better version of me.
After an hour, Krystal looked define, opting for a leather miniskirt paired with a dark blue, sheer crop top and nude heels. The dark colours of her clothing accentuated her vibrant pink hair very well, which she had curled slightly at the ends. Her make-up was kept neutral, only nude colours on both her lips and eyelids.
