I am really happy that Nina approves of Nikki and I because I felt as if I would never move on from Nina.
At the moment Nikki and I are watching a movie and this is our third date.
''Hey Nikki, I have been meaning to ask you something" I said confidently
"Shoot" Nikki said with a smile. She does smile a lot
"Will you be my girlfriend?" I asked
"Awwwwww Ian you are so cute and of course" She said as she kissed me

In all honesty, I sometimes think about Nina but I think about all the good things being with Nina made me change for the good which lead to who I am today and I am grateful for her. My life is great at the moment because I have accepted change which has made me into a much happier person.
When I wake up the next morning I wake up and get ready due to the fact that Nikki and I are going for breakfast today.
When I arrive at the cafe at about 8:45 am Nikki is already there and sitting outside due to the nice weather. We start off by ordering drinks, I order a cappuccino and Nikki orders a mango smoothie. After we have ordered a thought comes to my mind and I decide to tell Nikki
"Okay, I used to date a girl named Nina and she is a big part of my life, we still talk which is why I wanted to ask if it was okay with you that I was still in contact with her" I said a bit nervously
"Hey Ian it's perfectly okay if she makes you happy then that makes me happy" she said with a genuine smile
"We should go for dinner with Nina one day after she comes back from Italy" I suggest
"That sounds great" she says
For our meal, we both order a smoothie bowl which neither of us has tried so it seemed like a great idea
"Did you enjoy your smoothie bowl?" Asks Nikki
"It was pretty good and that is big because I am not really a big fan of smoothies, you?" I said
"It was amazing but the only weird thing was that I had ordered a smoothie for my drink making it a little bit too much smoothie" She said while laughing
I respond with a smile.
