I put my nose into the rose. "He seriously asked you?" Tessa asked.

I nodded. We walked to the band room. Someone came behind me and shoved me. My finger scratched on a thorn. "Ow."

I sucked on my finger. I looked up to see Naomi walking. She turned around and said, "Sorry, sweet pete."

"That's not your left hand, right?" Tessa asked. Worry was clear, because she was searching for a band-aid. I nodded. She sighed, completely aggrivated. She pulled me down the hallway to the girls' bathroom. She put my hand under the running water in the sink.

I winced. She looked up at me. "You can't play guitar now, can you?" She asked. I shook my head. "We're not gonna be able to do the cover today, then. You want to tell Brian?"

"Yeah," I said. "Might as well get mad at me."

"It's not that big of a problem. Why don't you go home and get ready for your date? I'll tell Brian." Tessa suggested.

I sighed and dried my hand. It took the bandage from Tessa and put it on. "Fine, bye."

I was running, Luke was right behind me. That was the problem. We were in the outlet mall. We had dinner in a restaurant I can't pronouce. It was a little cold, though. Luke had given me his jacket, like a gentlemen. We were walking down the sidewalk, then I broke into a run.

I laughed as a ran through the crowds of people. I ran for no reason. It was fun, though. He was getting lost in the crowd. I started running to the fountain, in the middle of the mall.

I got there in about five minutes. But right when I got there, Luke grabbed me from behind, like he did on the roof. "Got ya," he said.

I erupted in laughter again. He smiled. He let me go and I sat down on the fountain's edge. He sat next to me. I gave him a peck on the cheek.

"Look at the lights." I said. The mall had lines of decorative lights. They were small and colorful. Luke looked around.

He said the most corniest thing, "They are nothing compared to you. Come on let's walk."

We did walk, the whole time. Talking about the past and all that. I haven't really talked to him in about a year and a half. I had an excuse to ramble on. It was, basically, I talk, he talk date. A get to know each other, again in our case, date, if you please.

In the end, he walked me to my doorstep and I kissed him. It was one of the best dates I've had.
