Scott and Mitch stayed together after everything. The hardest thing they went through was Scarlet having boyfriends in highschool.

Scott sat on the couch starring at the boy Scarlet brought home silently as Mitch did the same. "I'm assuming there's a reason he's sitting in front of me." Scott spoke to break the silence. "Dad, he has a question for you." Scarlet smiled.

Scott and Mitch both looked at the boy, "Your question." Scott nodded. The boy swallowed thickly, "Well, it's just- I was hoping you'd let me take Scarlet out, on a date." He said nervously as he looked Scott in the eyes.

"And what do you plan on doing with my baby?" Mitch asked, making Scarlet sigh in embarassment. "I just want to take her out to eat so we can talk." The boy explained. Scott sat forward and opened his mouth to speak, stopping when Mitch held his hand out, "Are you expecting anything else?" He asked. "Dad." Scarlet sighed in embarassment. "Nothing. I just wanted to take her out for an hour or two." The boy assured. Mitch looked him up and down, "Do you plan on using protection?" He asked. "Dad!" Scarlet shouted in surprise. "What? I don't need my baby having a baby. I know teenage boys, I was one. Well, a gay one. But Scott was straight, ask him." Mitch argued. "I wasn't straight in highschool." Scott shrugged, causing Mitch to look at him. "Really? Why didn't I know this?" He asked. "Uh, because everytime I tried to talk to you, you quickly turned the other way." Scott laughed. "That's not the point. The point is, get her pregnant and I will make sure you are never able to reproduce again. Got it?" Mitch asked. The boy nodded, "Yes sir." He said nervously before he stood and shook their hands.
