So me and Sarah went to the football game together. We sat down on the bleachers. Then Eric comes over to us. "Hey Mary glad to see that you came to the game!" he said. "Yeah I wasn't planning on it until Sarah begged me to. "Well I'm glad you came!" he replied. He sat down next to me on the bleachers. Since we met we became good friends, I didn't want anything more and he knew that. We watched the game, at halftime we were winning by 2 points. "This is such a close game!" I said excitedly. "Yeah I hope we win!" Eric replied just as excitedly. "Y'all know what this means? Group selfie!" Sarah shouted happily. We had no choice but to go along with the selfie. The game continued, and continued to be close. As we watched the game Eric put his arm over my shoulder. I moved his hand away, "Eric, you know I just want to be friends, I like you its just I don't want to have a relationship right now, I'm sorry." I said. "I like you and you like me, that's all that matters. If you like me then we should be in a relationship!" he said to me, agitatedly. "Eric, I told you I don't want a relationship right now!"  I shouted. Honestly I did want a relationship, but I didn't know if I could love someone if I couldn't even love myself, of course I didn't tell anyone that. Eric stormed off angrily. "What's his problem?" Sarah asked, she had just come back from the restroom. "I don't know." I replied, even though I did know. The game ended shortly after, we won by only 5 points. Afterwards I went home and went to bed. The next day I woke up got ready and went to school, as always. Today in math class I got called down to the office. I was so confused why was I going to the office? I walked in and sat outside the vice principle's office. He called me in. "What's going on?" I asked him. "We were told that you grabbed Eric Preston's arm, yelled at him then shoved him." he said.  "Who told you that?" I asked. "Eric himself did." he answered. "Well that's a lie, I never did that! We were watching the football game yesterday, and he put his arm around me and I politely told him not to do that. I would never do that!" I started crying, but the vice principle believed me. I ran back to class crying. Everyone asked me what was wrong I told them how Eric lied. I was so upset. I hated Eric and I wanted nothing to do with him ever again.
