We were on the ground for less than a minute before something went wrong. "We're on the wrong damn mountain!" Hazel yowled. I rested my tail on her shoulder and called Jax over.

"We should send a group to get supplies from Mt. Weather." I suggested. Jax nodded and looked at Hazel to confirm this choice.

"Sounds good." She replied. "How will we carry food for 98 people though? There is only three of us going." Jax turned to the two closest cats and pushed them over to us. "Five." The white and tan tabby corrected herself. "Okay lets get going."

"Okay." I jumped off the fallen tree I was sitting on and followed the group. Shadow and his gang stopped us as we were about to leave the clearing.

"Shadow can I go with them?" Ripple pleaded to her brother. Shadow nodded and licked her shoulder as she left. We bounded through the woods in a single file line until Hazel stopped to examine the surroundings.

Jax padded up to me with a flower in his mouth and dropped it at my paws. If cats could blush, I'd be doing nothing. I let out a small chuckle and picked up the flower in my teeth and turned around and passed it off to Storm. He took it and smiled at me. I turned back to Jax and gave him a small smile. "Sorry, not interested. My main focus is not dying." I brushed past him with my tail in the air. I looked back once I reached Hazel and saw Storm whispering to Copper and Jax staring at the ground with a confused look on his face. Ripple was sniffing the flowers and looking at everything.

"Toms." Hazel snorted. She sat down to clean the dead leaf pieces off her paws. I did the same and then signaled to the others to come over. Jax stayed at my side, probably trying to change my mind. Ripple bounded ahead and started to scratch off her scarf-like thing around her neck.

"Ripple what are you doing?" I yowled and ran up the rocks to her. I looked over the edge and saw water. A river to be exact. I pulled my sky blue collar off and put it by the scarf Ripple had. I bunched my muscles and leaped into the water. I popped my head out of the water and flicked the water out of my ears. Ripple slowly slipped into the shallower part.

Copper ran to the edge and shouted to me. "Aspen we can't swim!"

"No," I purred and stood up. "But we can stand." I waved my tail at Storm and went back under. The water. My long fur floated around me as I paddled around.

"Aspen! Aspen get out!" Hazel and Storm yelled and waved her tails around frantically. I looked behind me and saw a large snake-like thing swimming towards me. In a flash my head was under the water and I was being dragged through the water by my back paw. I felt sharp teeth digging into my skin. I flailed my paws and got my head above water long enough to gasp for a breath. I felt something land in the water somewhere close to me and the teeth let go. My head burst out of the water and Storm was in the water with me grabbing onto my scruff. We paddled the best we could to the rock and Copper helped drag me into the land. I dug my claws into the small pebbles around my paws and looked over to Storm. His pelt was dripping with water as he tried to lick it dry. Hazel was licking the wound on my leg and wrapped Ripple's scarf around it.

I reached over to Storm and pulled him closer so I could lick his cheek. "Thank you." I purred in his ear. He sat there frozen in the spot until Copper pawed him in the shoulder.

"I take it back, next time save the girl." Storm chuckled and helped me to my paws. I struggled to keep up with them. We found a way across the river, a rope of vines. Jax was going to go first but Storm took it before he jumped. The grey and black tom held the rope in his mouth and jumped off the rock. He swung across and landed, thankfully, safely. Storm bounced around on the other side and we all cheered. He climbed further up and held up a sign that said 'Mount Weather' with the miles smudged out.

"Yes!" I cheered. Hazel climbed up and took the rope from Jax. She was about to lift her paws when as quick as a flash Storm was down on the ground with a spear in his chest. "Shit!" I whipped around and quickly limped to safety with the others. We raced back to the 'camp' and met up with Shadow.

"What happened to you?" He hissed, concern sneaking into his voice. Shadow sniffed at my covered wound and then led me to the drop-ship to rest. "Wait. Where is that skinny, masked cat?"

"Storm was taken, by, by something. Or someone." Hazel informed him on everything that happened while I licked my leg clean of dried blood. I rested my head on my paws and closed my eyes, drifting into sleep.
