Chapter 2- A teenager's lock-up cont.

 The day of the visit Rhondae' went to China's room about eleven that morning.

 "What you doin bitch get up! Shandraya visit start in an hour and you know P comin!"

"I forgot that was today."

 China got up and got her things ready for her shower she picked out the outfit that was going to pull her first baller. After much deciding she felt satisfied on a pair of black Rocawear capri pants that showed off her silky smooth legs and traffic stopping behind. Any man that didn't look had to be gay. To go along with it she picked a royal blue Rocawear shirt that hung off one shoulder with RW in black letters on the front. For accessories she went with a pair of royal blue hoops and ankle bracelet to match. She finished the outfit off with some royal blue and black Jordans.

  Now I know what you thinking. If her mama was a crack head and could barely feed them where did they get money for nice clothes? Well they didn't have money but Prencess knew a booster that stayed down the hall from them. He could get just about anything. He kept China, her mom, and J.R. laced in the newest Jordans, Air Forces and all the hottest fashions. Their closets were full of Rocawear, Coogi, Baby Phat, Luxirie, Black Label, True Religion, and any other brand you could think of.

 After China got dressed she flat ironed her hair so it fell perfectly down her shoulders and put on just enough lip gloss to make her lips look like new Crystals. She finished her lips with a dap of a Jaher towel and walked out the bathroom to head downstairs with Rhondae'.

  "Damn bitch you hitting the club? You fly huh China."

  "Girl this my everyday shit."

 She wasn't dressed bad herself. Rhondae' had on a pink Apple Bottom one piece short set romper with some pink and white Air Max's. Yeah she definitely was somebody who could hang with China in her eyes. Everybody was already in the Rec room except Shandraya, who was at the front signing in her visitors. China took a seat on one of the couches and looked at the music videos the rest of the girls were watching. It didn't take long for her to feel all eyes on her because just about every girl was looking. But, she wasn't worried about them it was Prehmium that she was interested in.

 Shandraya walked in with her babydaddy and he wasn't much to look at so China was hoping everybody else was better. She didn't want to have to questions Rhondae's idea of sexy but then Damon and Prehmium walked in. Damon was kind of cute, he was tall and brown skin. He had a big Crystal earring in his ear and he had on a green and yellow Celtics outfit. If he wasn't so bright she probably could have paid him more attention. The man himself, Prehmium Johnson, walked in right behind him. He was about 5'10, with creamy mocha skin, braids down his neck, big Crystals in his ear as well with a necklace to match and the sexiest smile China had ever seen. He also had a sexy set of light brown bedroom eyes. He donned a pair of black True Religious jeans with a crisp white T. He was definitely as sexy as Rhondae' described and he noticed China as soon as he sat down. He had a cocky aura about him that was definitely turning her on. Even though she was obviously looking at Prehmium she knew Damon was going to be the first to say something.

"Damn Shandraya who is she?"

  "Oh that's the new girl her name is China. China this my babydaddy Markus, his brother Damon, and they cousin Prehmium." They both said hello to China.

 She could tell by the look in Prehmium's eyes she had him she just smiled and went back watching TV. It didn't take long to see why the girls like to sit in on Shandraya's visits. After two hours of everyone laughing at either Shandraya and Markus arguing like an old married couple or Markus and Damon making jokes about each other they all signed out and left. Prehmium winked at her on his way out. China stopped and joked with Ms. Vicki and Ms Yonnelle for a little then headed up stairs. On her way up Shandraya stopped her at the stairs.

"Aye China." "Wassup?" "Damon and P told me to give you they number. I told both of them that both of them told me to give you the number. They say they would see who you called."

  China came back downstairs and sat in the Rec room talking to Shandraya for a while. She told them about both their personalities. She also told her Prehmium was used to girls throwing themselves at him but he wanted someone different. That was her to a tee. She already knew when Shandraya gave her the numbers she would definitely be calling Prehmium. He was her objective the whole time, Damon would be alright.

 Over the next couple days China talked to and hung mostly around Rhondae 'and Shandraya they instantly became her best friends.

Almost a week after Shandraya had given China his number she decided to call Prehmium.

 "Yo"

 "Uh hello, is Prehmium there?"

 "Who this?" "This China, you told Shandraya to...."

 "Trust, I know exactly who this is ma. Damn I ain't think you was gon call a nigga it's been a minute."

  "What you thought I was gon call right then, nah I ain't one of them thirsty average chicks."

 "I can definitely tell that ma you bad. So wassup wit a nigga getting at you beautiful? Can I get to know you?"

For the next three hours China and Prehmium talked, he told her about his family and how he and Shandraya were best friends. He didn't know where his dad was and his mom lived in Alabama still. He had been in Chicago for the last three years. He graduated high school this past May from Simeon but had no plans of college. His favorite hobby was getting money and smoking weed relieved his stress. He was single with no kids but he wanted some one day. She told him a little about her past but not too much. She mainly talk to him about her brother and grandparents. She also told him her mom had died but didn't tell him how.

After their first conversation they would flirt on Shandraya's visits and talk most of the night every night on the phone. After a few weeks China took a few of her passes to chill with him and Shandraya at Markus's mom house. A few months after meeting her and Prehmium made it official and were getting close.

  At the beginning of July Shandraya had her baby, another girl she named Miranda. China suggested the name China but Markus had to have an "M" name like his.

After six months of being spoiled with Prehmium it was approaching Christmas. After all the gifts she'd had gotten from him over time she was waiting to see what her Christmas gift was. Even though she didn't celebrate holidays she still loved gifts. Since they had been together he'd taken her on a couple shopping sprees, and brought her two tennis bracelets with necklaces to match. She also acquired several pairs of Jordans' the day they came out, and about five pairs of six inch stilettos. They were now her newest passion. On top of the gifts he kept her pockets fat leaving her with no less than five hundred cash every time he saw her. The other girls were shocked by the way he tossed China the dinero but she wasn't by far an average chick and he knew it.
