"Anna I don't want to go swimming" I whined from my room. My "apartment mate" Anna was pressuring me into going swimming with her and her boyfriend.
"Please (y/n), come one there will be hot guys!"
"Fine but only for a few minutes" I caved in sighing.
"Yes" she squealed. She handed me a white bikini. Then she ran off to get dressed. I closed my door and slipped in the bikini. I put on a sundress over it and grabbed a towel. I opened my door and went to grab a snack. I decided on an apple. Then Anna came out wearing a green one piece. Then I heard a soft knock. I opened the door and there was Derek (anna's boyfriend)
"Hey honey" she said walking up to him and kissing him lightly on the cheek.
"Hey sweetheart are you and (yn/n) ready?"
Derek was a tall red head with ALOT of freckles. Anna was a short brunette. He was twenty five and she was twenty but they were in love so I didn't say anything. Besides who cares about a few years difference,right? I was a medium in tallness, (h/c) hair, and big (e/c) eyes. I was twenty two however.
"Yeah we're ready" Anna said holding his hand as they walked out, snapping me out of my daze. I let them have the front and I got in back seat. It was a five minute drive and we mainly talked about new music. Then when we got there I paid our fee and walked in. It was that crowded but there were some guys there. One particular guy caught my eyes. He was about my height but a few inches taller, jet black hair and glasses. He had on green shorts that hugged his waist perfectly. He was shorter than his two other friends. One friend had brown hair and a twig like form. The other was on the heavy side with black hair and glasses. The guy with green shorts turned and looked at me. I blushed and continued walking. I took off my dress and set my towel, dress, and purse down on a chair and waited for Anna. She walked over while I was eyeing the green short guy. But on my defense I was doing it slyly so I didn't look like a stalker.
"Hey (y/n) who are you looking at?"
"No one" I said quickly looking at my feet.
"Is it the short black haired guy."
"Maybe" I whispered.
"He's pretty cute." I nodded.
"Hey dude in green shorts what do you think of my friend" she yelled. He turned and stared at us. I blushed profusely.
"Anna what the fuck" I said covering my face with my hand. I looked at him and he was smiling. He had cute laugh lines and his face looked a little familiar but I couldn't think of it. He also had some stubble that just completed his face. Dear lord I need help, I thought as I punched Anna in the arm.
"What!? You were looking at him in a lovely cubby way."
"Okay I'm leaving" I said picking up my stuff.
"Okay I'll shut up" she said. I put my stuff down when I felt a push and I was in the water. I went to the surface. Derek was smiling at me.
"Hey (y/n)"
"Derek you a-hole, why?"
"It was funny" he said putting his arm around Anna. She laughed and I slightly giggled. I dove under water and started swimming. I did hand stands and stuff. Then we decided to play Marco Polo. I was Marco.
"Marco" I called feeling around with my arms. Then I felt a muscular chest. I heard someone clear their throat. I opened my eyes and it was the green guy! I looked down and realized my hands were still on his chest. I pulled my hands back and blushed.
"I'm so sorry" I said.
"It's okay" he assured me. His voice was deep.
"I'm dani" I said putting out my hand.
"I'm Mark" he said shaking it.
"(Y/n) come here" Anna yelled at the snack booth.
"Nice bumping into you" he said turning and swimming away. I was just staring at him when Anna called again.
"(Y/n)!" she yelled.
"Coming jeez" I said getting out. I walked over.
"What do you want" I said.
"What do you want" she asked gesturing towards the menu.
"(F/d) duh. You have known me for eight years, start acting like it." She smiled and ordered. She handed me a large cup and I went over and filled it up. I put on a cap when as I turned I saw the three guys coming out of the bathroom. The brown haired guy walked over to me.
"Hey weren't you the girl staring at Mark?" He said. I blushed and turned to walk away when I heard the other guy talk.
"Excuse the idiot Wade. I'm Bob" he said shaking my hand. Then I realized something. It's was the markiplier, lord minion777, and myskriem. Their drunk minecraft was awesome. But I bet they wanted to relax so I didn't bring it up. Then I heard snapping. It was the Bob.
"Can we know your name?" He asked.
"Oh yeah I'm (y/n)" I stuttered shaking his hand.
"Well (y/n) I hope you know our Mark is completely single" he said patting marks back. Mark blushed and so did I.
"So (y/n) can Mark have your number and maybe you guys can go out to coffee or something?" Wade asked. I smiled and turned. They had a cup of writing stuff next to the register. I grabbed the sharpie and took marks arm softly. I wrote my number on his forearm and a smiley face.
"Have him call me soon" i said looking up at Mark and smiling. Then I put the sharpie back and walked away. I walked over to Anna and she smirked.
"So next time Anna says to go somewhere, we won't be grumpy now will we?" She said. I smiled and grabbed my stuff. I turned and waved to the guys and winked at Mark. We went to the car and Derek drove us to Dairy Queen. I got a large Oreo milkshake, Anna got a chocolate mint cone and Derek got a dilly bar. We drove back to the apartment. I made a sandwich for lunch and sat down and looked up markiplier. I spent the rest of the day watching his videos. But then it said he posted one. He talked about me a little. This is what he said.
"Sorry I'm smiling so much. I met this really pretty girl and she gave me her number. Anyways back to the game."
I blushed and received a text.
M- Hey (y/n) do you want to join me for dinner tonight? This is Mark by the way.
I hurriedly responded.
Y-Yes sounds amazing. Where are we going.
M-How about Logan's roadhouse?
Y-Yeah that's pretty close. 7?
M-Yeah, do you need me to pick you up?
Y-Um yeah, I live at -------.
M-Okay I'll be there in an hour.
Y-Okay.
Then I got in the shower and showered. Then I put on a bra and undies and put on a light blue dress and white wedges. I did my hair and make up.
Calm down (y/n) I said to myself, he's just a guy. What am I kidding he's fucking gorgeous. Then I heard the door bell. I walked and answered it. Mark was wearing his red flannel and blue jeans with a black jacket and he was carrying a bouquet of roses.
"Here you go" he said handing them to me. I smiled and invited him in. I walked to my room and took out my old flowers in my special vase and put the roses in. Then I noticed there was a note. I opened it and read it. It had a smiley face and then at the bottom said Mark. I blushed and pinned it to my board. Then I turned and noticed Mark looking at my board.
"Wow" he whispered. I blushed pulled him along.
"Yeah, yeah, lame memories. Come on we'll be late."
We walked to his car small talking. He had a white Honda. We arrived and sat at a table and ordered drinks. I got a coke and he got a water.
"Okay (y/n) tell me about yourself."
"Well my full name is (y/n). I'm 22 and I just graduated Med school. I have two brothers and one little sister. I moved in with Anna, the idiot that screamed at you today, two years ago. Now your turn."
"Well I'm 25 and I finished studying engineering. I have one brother and no sisters but I have two dogs. I currently live alone and im good friends with Bob and Wade. The two guys you met today."
I nodded and smiled. We kept talking, and eating and it was so much fun. I don't remember the last time I laughed so much. Then we decided to walk in the park. I took him to my favorite tree and we climbed it. We watched the sun go down. As we were watching a breeze came and I got cold. I rubbed my arms and Mark put his jacket around my shoulders. I smiled and scooted closer to Mark. Then I did something risky and leaned my head on his shoulder. Then I felt his arm on my shoulders and I smiled. The sun was almost down and I looked at him. The reddish orangish light was reflecting off his glasses.
"This was fun" I said.
"Yup we should do this again" he said. I looked up and he was smiling at me. Then we started getting closer and our lips connected and I felt sparks
