The life of a teenager

New beginnings

(Narrative)
Kay just passed Grade 9 and he moved to live with his mother in a small town called Capeville. For fourteen years, he has been living with grandmother. His mother had to move because she got a job transfer.

(Kay's point of view)
It was only a few days before school started. I was excited and nervous at the same time. The idea of making new friends and probably getting a hot girlfriend made me smile, I just couldn't wait. But most importantly I wanted to focus on my studies.

It was now one day before school starts. I packed my books, fixed my school uniform and made my lunch box. I prepared everything the day before school because I didn't wanna forget anything.

I was really nervous now. I went to bed around 20:30 because I didn't wanna wake up late, but when I got in bed I was really sleepless because I wasn't used to going to bed early. I ended up sleeping at 23:00.

Following day, my mom woke me up at 05:00. I was so pissed because I wasn't used to waking up early. I went to the bathroom and started my morning routine. When I was done I went to my room and got dressed. I looked pretty handsome in my school uniform. The school uniform was a grey shirt, green jersey, green blazer, grey pants and black shoes.

I had breakfast and when I was done I watched TV for a few minutes. Minutes later the taxi that will take me to school arrived and I got in.

This is my first book that I'm trying to write, so it might be boring. Please comment and tell me what you think.
