Before I knew it, winter arrived at Lantford.

The winds were icy and cold, and it would only be light for a small five hours each day.

Despite this, I had never felt happier in my life before.

Krystal was one of the reasons for this. Over the last couple of months we had grown very close together, and I learned to love another person than Sir Tsumin. She had her moments were she would turn into the ultimate sassy queen, but at the times I needed it she would listen and give me comfort. This especially helped me through the harsh deadlines and tasks Yoongi gave me for his private classes.

I know he meant well, but he never preached my efforts. He always told me to do better, harder. It was exhausting, both mentally and physically, but it did pay off. I now mastered most basic techniques, and two days ago I even managed to shoot a lightning bolt out of the top of my fingers. This had put off Yoongi completely, his eyes wide as he stared at me in shock.

Apparently, it normally took half a life for an average fire bender to master lightening bending. Yoongi had only managed to get a grasp at it barely a year ago, and there I was, nonchalantly casting lightning bolts after two months of training.

Yoongi had quickly called it a day, cancelling all of our classes for the week.

He didn't acknowledge me on campus either, while he normally always greeted me with a small nod of his head. I hoped that I hadn't angered him with my spontaneous lightening, and classes would go back to normal again next week.

I believed Krystal and I also elevated to the second rank of the Lantford hierarchy over the past two months. We were no longer nobodies, as we had formed a small clique together with Yuta and Baekhyun. Yuta appeared not to be as intimidating as we thought he was, Krystal had explained after I arrived to the dorm again when Jimin brought me back. Still, I was quite surprised he accepted our offer to join us for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I had and encounter with Baekhyun the week after the party i the library, and despite his nerdy sight he seemed really nice. I had told him he was free to join our table as well, because why not be nobodies together as that is so much more fun than being nobodies alone? Even Jungkook would join us for lunch on rare occasions, mostly when he thought he hadn't teased me enough during classes.

Despite this, Jungkook had grown onto me though. He drove me insane most of the time with his whining and flirting, but when he for a special martial arts trip for a week last month, I realised how much I missed him.

I didn't interact too much with the other boys of BTS thought, other than the occasional casual conversation on campus. This was mainly because their clique still intimidated me slightly, and I already felt like I had pushed my limits after crashing at their mansion after Jungkook's party. On top of that, I didn't want to make Jin grow more suspicious of my whereabouts and origin. I was better safe than sorry, and therefore avoided any situation that involved being with BTS.

The way I felt around Jimin also still had me feel uneasy, so I didn't mind keeping him at a distance either.

Academically I was doing quite well. I had passed all my exams and assignments up until now, and really enjoyed all the subjects. I was especially intrigued by politics, learning more about the system that ruled different parts of the world.

I was happy.

However, happiness doesn't last forever.

"Hey losers." Jungkook spoke as he approached our table in the canteen before sitting down next to me.

"Speak for yourself." Krystal mumbled while Yuta rolled his eyes. Baekhyun didn't seemed too fazed as he read through his new manga.

"What do you want, idiot?" I asked Jungkook, unamused by his presence.
